Kelp Restaurant Ballina
Highly recommended spot in Ballina with great atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were all happy including our child. You could tell they really cared about everyone’s experience. The food was outstanding every dish we ordered was awesome the ingredients were carefully considered everything was really high quality and presented beautifully we will be back.

Great food and excellent friendly service. First experience with Beefsteak and Burgundy club and the a private dinner. Totally enjoyed both meals and Friday night background live music was also great. Give this restaurant a try, I. Sure you won’t be disappointed. Wines, cocktails and craft beers available

Wow! Has to be the best restaurant in Ballina! The venue is absolutely beautiful, lots of seating, right in the centre of Ballina.The service is really great, everyone was so friendly and helpful.And the food was awesome. I loved the trout tartare and the steak was cooked perfectly.Highly recommended!

Wonderful fresh interesting food. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff really great. The summer curry was terrific as was the ceviche.

Kelp Restaurant Ballina
Kelp is not only a beautiful venue, it has some of the freshest seafood in the area as well as some of the best service. We ordered the bucket of prawns which were so fresh and delicious, and the whiting fritters + octopus salad. All was in such great balance: flavours, ingredients, portions. If you love seafood and fresh tasteful produce, this is where to go! Drinks list is also of quality.

We had a wonderful evening at Kelp for birthday celebrations greeted by a very friendly smiling welcoming Maitre d who made us feel very comfortable and interacted with our grandson and looked after us beautifully. The service was on point" food delicious beautiful flavours a real plus for Ballina. Thank you."

At last - a great seafood restaurant in Ballina! Celebrated our anniversary here and every course was delicious. The oysters were amazing and we couldn’t resist the whitebait. The market fish main was perfectly cooked and the lemon curd dessert was great. Wonderful flavours, staff attentive, warm and inviting atmosphere. We’ll done Kelp, we’ll be back!

Absolutely love the food at Kelp. I’m a seafood lover and the meals are fresh and absolutely delicious! Some are rather unique too. Staff are very welcoming, love the presentation.Atmosphere is stylish and very spacious, love the colour of the decor, the bar is stunning. Especially in the evening. Great cocktails & mocktails too. Thanks and definitely see you all again.
