I wouldn't recommend this business. Very helpful up to the point of receiving my deposit, after that, service non existent. Sent me an invoice for work that didn't even take place. Now awaiting if I can receive any part of my deposit back, met with rude response, after numerous emails went unanswered. Have previously used opposite lock in North Queensland and was happy, but I wouldn't use them again.

I was in need of some LED lights for my VW Amarok. I went and had a chat with Ron Finnegan and his wife Kathy. They took their time in explaining all the LED lights and their benefits and drawbacks. I did not want a bull bar so Ron suggested a simpler option of installing it on the number plate with an solid plate. The entire sale process was very professional and friendly with no hint of being in a hurry for a sale.Nick ,one of their installers was equally professional and had it installed and took the time to explain on the features and how to operate them. He also fitted a reversing camera for me and again very helpful.I have to admire that in todays fast consumer talk and get rid of customers quickly these people were very courteous and professional. I have no hesitation in recommending anyone to go and see them. I write this as I had a terrible experience with the ARB team in town and will not go back there ever.

I had my car booked in at 10:30am to get a new bit of glass put in the canopy, when booked was told that it would take approximately an hour and a half. I waited in the waiting room with my 2 year old daughter until 12:30 to go find out what was happening to then be told that I wouldn't be able to have my car until 2:30pm as it still needed the glass put in and once in needed to set for 1 hour before being able to drive... I have gotten home to see that it's been poorly done and there is sika everywhere and a total mess. I would not recommend this company at all. Everything that I was told when getting the quote and booking in they kept saying that they don't know where I got that information from, reception staff needs to be trained properly in giving quotes and how long jobs are going to take.

The team at opposite lock caloundra always go above and beyond. Dylan the salesman is fantastic. Wouldn't take my 4wd anywhere else!

Had some work on my Nissan Patrol, Customer Service (Nick) was awesome. Knew all about products, provided accurate quote. The work was done but a faulty part (manufacturing issue) resulted in a revisit. Again the follow up customer service was second to none. Can't reconmend these guys enough - great service. Thanks to Nick and Nathan (workshop) in particular.

I’ve been using Opposite Lock Caloundra for the last three of my vehicles but never again. The service I received on my brand new Toyota Rugged in October was appalling. They unplugged the leads that go to the radar on the grill when installing the uhf antenna and forgot to plug it back in. Then refused to acknowledge the fact that they had made a mistake and said the check engine light was on when I dropped it off. The car had 300 klms !!!! on it and Toyota fixed the problem by plugging the lead back in. No apology and only after arguing with Ron did he begrudgingly pay the Toyota bill. NO APOLOGY and virtually called me a liar because his employee said the light was already on.My uhf radio was also refit by them but when I went to use it I couldn’t transmit after returning back to opposite lock they said my radio must be faulty I asked them “ why would I want you to fit a faulty radio. It was working when I gave it to you”, I took it home to remove it and in doing so found that they had installed the antenna connector without the male post. I went straight back to them to show them this and Ron proceeded to look under my mats for the piece. Surely the installer should have picked this up when installing it or testing it. NO APOLOGY it was my fault.They refit my airbags into the rear of the vehicle and on the very next trip away I couldn’t get the airbags level only to realize that the right side valve was finger tight and the air was escaping. On the same trip driving up the highway the antenna mount became loose after inspection there was no locking nut and no lock tight.Both Ron and Nick’s attitude was very dismissive and down right rude very poor service that I’m sure Opposite Locks head office would or want representating they’re brand. I will never use them again nor will my family and mates. Be warned.
