Citymove Removals

After damage to several items that were meant to be wrapped and rough handling we have spent the last year trying to get compensated, which they have continued to delay, ignore, and pas us from person to person. Absolutely terrible company to deal with if anything goes wrong. Run a mile!!!!

I had my furniture moved from Perth to Melbourne by Citymove. When I received them in Melbourne, I realized some items were broken or damaged, including a dining chair, a fridge and a study desk. I called Citymove and explained the situation, and I was asked to fill in a complaint form, and expect a reply within 48 hours.After submitting the form, I didn't get any reply for almost a week, so I called Citymove again. I was told I would receive a response the same day, which I didn't. Not only the same day, but also after a week after the phone call.So I called again, and again, and again (I remember 5 times), and I got the same response.The last time I called was 19 days after submitting my complaint. And I was told that everything is final and I would get an email the same day with the details for my compensation.They easily lie to you in your face. Their behaviour is not only utterly unprofessional, but also inconsiderate and insulting.It's been almost a year and I have long lost my hope to be compensated.Not recommended at all.

I have used them before. They charged me an extra 120 dollars for wrapping a frigde, a freezer and an oven. If they had told me beforehand that I had to wrap, I would have done the wrapping myself.

Citymove were excellent. They arrived 5 minutes early, introduced themselves and then promptly started work. They were very efficient, careful and nice guys. I will definitely hire Citymove again.

Movers turned up on time (we used guaranteed 7.30 start) and were so fast an efficient! The whole thing was done very quickly and everything arrived in great condition. Highly recommended and will use again!

I was so happy with the removalist we had from Citymove. I was very sceptical about using Furniture Removalists again, after having my personal belongings stolen on a move interstate. Dan the remvoalist took so much care with my furniture and even when they dropped off the furniture made sure that it was all stacked neatly in the garage for me.
