BDS stand for bloody disappointing service- NEVER take your car here! I went in to get a roadworthy certificate for my near new car & was immediately charged upfront for the certificate. They then called me a few hours later to say I needed 4 new tyres which was an outright lie because I'd already seen another mechanic who said the tyres were fine. After not issues a roadworthy certificate I asked for a refund which was rudely refused. Terrible customer service & terrible place to take your car

Website advertises $99 for a Roadworthy..when I booked in a Corolla and was quoted $180 I asked why the price difference, reply was Corolla isn’t a small car. Apparently a small car has two doors. Um, Yeah right...Also Had to pay up front. When I questioned this “its standard practice”When the car was “ready” an additional $100was charged for a windscreen wiper, a number plate bulb and some oil that needed some degreaser to clean it away.When I laughed and said I could buy those parts and do it myself he dropped the price to $80.. I paid just to get the car back and avoid an argument.I requested an itemised receipt was told it would be emailed, I’m still waiting two weeks later.If you want transparency take your car to Western Roadworthy Centre. They’re honest, quick and easy to deal with. The only reason I didn’t go there was because they and every other company was booked for Easter and I needed a roadworthy quickly.

I don't recommend taking your car there. They may be ok for a simple oil change but you will end up paying for things that didn't need to be fixed.I took my car there for a road worthy. I have built racing cars in the past so do know a thing or two about cars. When I go the call to pick up the car and have been told what needs to be fixed I got suspiciousSo 3 days later they finished the inspection and I received a list of items that needed to be replace; transmission mount, new sway bars, new tyres, break fluid system needed to be cleaned out and fluid replaced, and a few other smaller bits like windscreen wiper. All up about 3k to get it fixed. I asked for a detailed quote before they start the work , but their computer system was down so they could't do it. I also asked if they could show me the issues with the cracked transmission mount and sway bars but the boss wasn't around so they were not able to do that. Needless to say I lost my confidence and went to a different mechanic.I asked the new mechanic to check the items listed above, after all I don't want to drive in a car that's not safe. But nothing had to be done to the car besides new wipers. There was no issue with the transmission mount, no issues with the sway bar or bushes, tyres were in good condition. He took pictures of everything and showed me. Everything was in safe condition and in no need of replacing.Communication in general wasn't that great either, there were few misunderstandings.If you're after a good mechanic I suggest you go somewhere else.

5 starsI will try to remain short and simple but reasonable with the review. 1st five start costumer service from the beginning to the end. Very polite and professionals dealt with me. 2nd the extra mile which they providing with recorded pictures of their work done to your car is something new for me and very appreciated. No many garages will do that. 3rd, the work quality is great too, and free advises about the car are also appreciated. I definitely recommend this garage and will back myself when need.

Don’t go there if you want a reasonable service.This mechanic is very picky on small things for RWC (which do not impact safety) and offers fixing through them or their “partners” afterwards for a high cost.He wanted to charge, I refused and left with 150$ paid. Passed the RWC (second one) with ease at a reasonable mechanic.Do yourself a favour and don’t do it, even though the price is ok, he will find some stuff and not pass... just irrational.

Avi is an excellent mechanic, he services and looks after our cars on a regular basis. Recently had to change an engine on one of our cars and am absolutely wrapped in the work he has done.Great people.

The customer service is outstanding! Constantly communicating and thoroughly explaining made me feel very well looked after. He spent well over an hour explaining and discussing the replacements and was very friendly at the same time. Replacing most of the bushes of front and rear suspension and some smaller things took only one day. It was also a lot cheaper than what two former rwc testers had listed and quoted.Overall it was very professional experience, I highly recommend Bds williamstown

A friend of mine introduce me to this garage as they have been fixing his car for year, my car needed needed a lot of work as was having some problems and full service and tyres change. The friendly staff welcome me with open arms, they listen to me explaining to them the problems I was having on my car and then assured me that they will be able to fix and should leave the car with them they will call me when the work was done. They told me to pick the car after dew hours and later the car felt like new again and the pricing was very affordable too.I will highly recommend this garage to anyone who has a problem with their car and wants a good work done on it with affordable prices too.

Great first experience with parm at Bds williamstown for a pre-purchase inspection.it was on time, polite and professional and thorough. He made sure to explain everything in detail. My only suggestion is there should be a reduced price for inspections On smaller cars Otherwise great service and would recommend!
