Just looking at Silas’ photos and portfolio on instagram, we KNEW he was going to be good, but he absolutely took it to the next level and blew us out of the water with our wedding photos!Seeing this man in action was incredible. It’s so insane to think his galleries on his website is all a one man show - with the quality and quantity of work, you would think there would be at least 3-4 photographers on site. But no, he some how got shots from behind my father and I when we started to walk down the isle, and somehow flew (maybe teleported) around to the front and met us at the top of the alter and captured the moment my to-be husband received me, all in the space of a few seconds. He is IN-CRED-I-BLE!!!!!He amazingly took charge of all of our guests the minute the ceremony was over to direct EVERYONE to get a MASSIVE group photo and did this so seamless it was amazing.The best part of Silas is his wonderful, humorous, somewhat laid-back personality which made everyone feel so completely comfortable and relaxed infront of the camera. We never felt we had to be “performative” at all, he perfectly captured all the sweet, candid moments and directed us with more specific directions when needed be for some more posed photos. We all felt absolutely comfortable around him.We were so shocked to already receive a “sneak peek” which seemed like a few hundred photos the next morning, and then the full gallery of thousands of photos within only a few days!Booking Silas was undoubtably one of, if not THE best decision we made for our day. The photos are the number one thing you get to take home and remember from your wedding day, and we are so SO glad every single one of our special moments on our day were captured so beautifully by Silas. If you’re thinking about booking Silas, 100% do it, you will not regret it. His work speaks for himself.Ps it was so hard to limit myself to choosing only a few photos for this review bc every single picture Silas took was too good omg.

Silas is an absolute joy to work with! He is very professional, punctual and takes wonderful, creative photos. We are so happy with the final product that came in within a week of our wedding (perfect for brides like me who dont prefer to wait months!) They were high quality, amazing work with all of our best angles. Thank you Silas for being the best wedding photographer! Would highly recommend Silas to anyone, you can rest assured that photos of your big day are in good hands.

Guys believe me when I say, if you’re looking for a top professional photographer for your wedding, book Silas! There is a reason why he’s the best in the business and if you see his pictures on his Instagram @silaschau they are not only top quality but capture the intimacy, joy and laughter of the day. He even managed to get some of the more shy camera guest laughing and posing for shots.My now wife and I were blown away by the quality of his work. One thing I want to note is how quickly Silas edited our photos. We received a large sneak peek album of almost 200 photos to enjoy while he finished editing the rest. It was such a treat to have those photos so soon after the wedding so we could post on Instagram and other social media.Overall, all I can say is if you can book him, BOOK HIM. You won’t regret it!

We are so glad that we booked Silas for our wedding!! He was so laid back and made the whole day so enjoyable. My partner and I are incredibly awkward in front of the camera but Silas made everything effortless, natural and comfortable (even fun!) for us. All the photos came out amazing!! Couldn’t have asked for a better photographer to have around! (Especially on a day that is so fast-paced and stressful). Highly highly recommend him!!

Silas was amazing for our wedding! We keep recommending him to everyone we know because he simply produces the best photos. He has great directions, making everyone feel at ease to capture our natural joy. He works FAST! By the time we woke up we were greeted with our photos all edited from the night before!! And they were all perfect quality too. He captured many candid shots of us and our guests, on top of bridal party and getting ready photos. You definitely get your money's worth with Silas! He is so easy going and really is the best in the business.

Highly recommended! Silas excels at capturing candid shots of couples and guests and keeps it natural forgoing any cringy prompts that would typically be used to elicit a response. He has the speed to cover, at the very least, a wedding with 400 guests, producing quality photos from a bride and groom that would not consider themselves to be very photogenic. The turnaround time is incredible with the full edited album coming back in less than a week. Couldn't be happier with the photos that we've gotten!

SO IMPRESSED!As a Marriage Celebrant, I've worked with many good photographers over the years. But Silas has got to be one of the best. Not only is he friendly but he's so good at capturing candid photos as well as guiding people with their posed shots. As a result, his photos are natural and not a 'frozen' smile to be found! But what also amazed me was his attention to detail and he did not miss a moment! When looking through my couple's wedding gallery today, I was astounded at how many truly wonderful photos there are. It's going to be hard for them to narrow down the photos for the album. :-)Silas, I'm so happy our professional paths crossed and I look forward to being able to recommend you.
