Not the best bakery.. Many others in the area that are better - Moggys for instance. But for convenience, given it's location, the food is edible.

Very rude lady, wouldn't listen to my order, kept changing it.Six separate cakes and tried to put them in six individual bags. Suggested to put them in a cake box and got the daggers.Plus 2 pies 2 large milk good order.

In my past travels, I have ventured to this fine establishment with Sasha Adam. A sausage roll was ordered along with tomato sauce. Along with the swift service, the flavour of the delicacy was superb. Deliciously light to bite, but yet flavours perfectly balanced. Tremendous.

Just bought 6 rice paper rolls and consistent with other reviews, they were obviously several days old, rice paper was chewy and internals are dry and disgusting. Inedible.. The owner needs to take note of.

Absolutely terrible apple pies. I used to live in the Brighton area and revisiting with my non-Australian wife, wanted her to try an Aust custard tart. They were sold out so I took a gamble on four of the little $5 apple pies - a couple for my parents. None of us could make it halfway through. The pastry is mushy and generic and disintegrates on contact - but that filling! Tastes like it came out of a can of sloppy over-sweetened apple sauce with an unpleasant aftertaste of…something nasty. I could have spent that $20 at Woolworths up the road and at least got something edible.

Have been going here nearly every Saturday morning for the last 2 years. And have brought a daisy wheel cream bun. Earlier this year the price went up . Which is understandable, but after we went there on Saturday and to be told that the price had risen by $3.00 from the one we got the week before is a bit rich.

I’ve been staying at Brighton the last 2 months and have gotten food from this bakery 2-3 times a week. Most the sweets are lacking a real sugar flavour taste more artificial. I feel like I’ve purchased every pastry. Cupcakes, donuts cakes pastry. There’s only like 2 individual things I like from there. Food is also pricy is not worth it. As everyone else says moggys is way more delicious down the road as well as cheaper. I probably will pick a couple things up from here but I don’t support it. Le cafe de Brighton two shops down has lovely baked goods even sausage rolls & pies for the same price and better quality. The lady that works at this bakery seems nice but they really need to change their recipes for all their menu items

Bought an apple pie from here and it tasted disgusting. There's something in the pie that's mixed with the apples to make up the bulk of the filling. Not sure what it is but it's white, grated and sweetened so it's difficult to make out what it is. Don't support this business.

Bought a caramel bun for $7.50 yesterday. Was an absolute disgrace. The bun just tasted like doughy undercooked bread with probably a teaspoon of caramel in the whole bun. Might as well have bought a loaf of bread for half the price. Disgusting!!
