Colac Central Hotel-Motel

Sorry the curtains didn't close the hook at the top was not on. I did tell the cleaning lady, all was good I put a chair to hold them closed.

The room filled with the cleaning chemicals smell. We had to keep the windows open in order to breathe… shower room not very clean. Needs a bit of thorough cleaning.

We were well taken care of and the owners are very nice people.The location is great, walking distance to everything.It's the second time we have stayed and we will definitely be coming back.

Great place to stay, right in the center of town, prices are good too. Staff are realy friendly & like a chat.

Exceptionally clean, very welcoming hosts shoutout to (Wilson & Claire) need more stars :) family friendly which is hard to find when travelling. Have their own bistro/ bar great parking facilities & low noise being off the main street surprised me. The information they provide for you to explore the area is above what I expected.

Good, comfortable, clean room. Not too noisy considering it was on the main road.Very friendly staff.Meals in the bistro were a good price and nicely cooked/presented.Nice little gem of a place to stay. Glad we found it as it was a spur of the moment trip.Thanks to all staff for making things easy and pleasant.

We were in Colac for a wedding so just needed a room for the night. Early check in was easy to arrange, check in was easy too. The room was clean and everything we needed. Loved the makeup face washer!~

This is a small unpretentious local motel. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. The staff are very friendly & welcoming.There is a small restaurant. I had the steak, chips & salad - it was the best I have had for a long time. The steak was cooked to perfection, the chips were just right and the salad was fresh.Highly recommended.

Stayed here for two nights! It’s nice and quiet, room was clean and comfortable. Only issue was the shower tiles are really slippery, maybe a non slip shower mat would be an idea? I think $140 a night is a little bit steep, I’d be happy to pay $110-$120 a night. It’s not fancy but it’s quite and comfortable and perfect for a short stay. It’s walking distance to basically everything which was fantastic! We walked to most places, it was convenient.Unfortunately we don’t recommend the food in the bistro. Overpriced for what you get, servings are really small. The edges of my partners Parma were burnt. We ate anyway and didn’t complain, the drive was long, we were hungry and tired but we did not eat there again. The lemon lime and bitters was perfect! No one has managed to impress me with that until then, it’s either too sweet or not sweet enough so that was great. Gluten free options don’t seem like the biggest priority, makes the menu very limited. Service was warm and friendly on all accounts. Would stay again.
