Love this shop in Castlemaine vic ,.if you like older style fittings for your period home or renovations this is the place to go . There's literally tons of stuff to look at memorabilia ,tools, furniture etc etc etc ,s o if your in town do yourself a favor ,pop in & take a look around . I think you'll be impressed.

Nice place to go! Great antiques and old fashioned items to look at. You spend a good 30 minutes looking at the interesting items they have for sale!

I’m not in the market for vintage doorknobs or light fittings, so why did I go in here? Not sure, but I’m glad I did. Along with the promised items for people doing home restorations are plenty of fun and quirky vintage items, displayed with great style.

Beautiful, magical place. But don’t bother going at the weekend - they’re closed. And don’t bother going during the week either - they’re closed, UNLESS you make an appointment. That’s how retail works in this country now? Small wonder there were no shoppers there either at the weekend I went or this afternoon (a Thursday) when I returned, mistakenly thinking that if they advertise their trading hours on the door, they’ll be open for business during those hours. Silly me. The lights are on but there’s nobody home. Interesting marketing strategy.

Do I need an appointment to browse ? I really don't understand your strategy but I would have thought street traffic would be profitable especially as your town relies on tourism.

Fascinating collections of old household items, hardware and tools - always worth having a look around for that 'missing item' of yesteryear!

Absolutely the greatest place to go if you need something to finish that restoration project. We spent well over an hour and barely covered half of the building. Great for a browse or antique bits or just a trip down memory lane. Loved it and a must if you are passing through Castlemaine.

Wow, what an awesome place. The range of stuff these guys have is impressive. I could literally spend hours in there going through all the old (good quality) tools, furniture, insane amounts of door furniture, lighting. It's all Period style as well, it's a place I will definitely come back to again for anything I need for my place. Even if it does take an hour or so. I've never seen anything like it. My wife was so patient with me :)

What an awesome business and experience.We booked in a time to meet with Steph and Ian to discuss the options that were available for fitting out our entire home with door furniture. We knew what we wanted, but had no idea what was possible.The personal consultation meant that we could take our plans and work through what was required room by room without interruption. Steph and Ian could show us examples of everything they were recommending and how it would all work together. Their knowledge of their products and the size of their range is huge!The ordering process was easy, and we received our order within days of placing it. There has been regular contact throughout and we have received fantastic after service follow up.It's been one of the best customer service experiences we've encountered and would highly recommend anyone to take the time to book and spend some time with Steph and Ian.
