North Curl Rockpool

A beautiful rock pool with an amazing Sunrise view.

Stunning Rockpool. It’s beautiful but it’s quite slippery. I won’t suggest for young kids.

A really nice spot. Bit quieter than the main curl curl beach. The rock pool spot is perfect for small kids, and the small bush walk near the pool is pretty nice, too

Easy access to the left of the surf club, worth the adventure.

Next to the Rockpool, the water isn’t rough mostly therefore suitable for families on a hot day, dog beach right next to the surf club.

Swimming safely with big waves in close distance, nearby reefs form small ponds

Great beach to take the kids too. Nice cafe. Kitchen closes at 3pm though... clean bathrooms. If you like to walk to the other edge of the beach thiers a short rock path to another natural rock pool with water snails and more. Gourgeous.

Beautiful rock pool, not overcrowded, but dangerous especially in storm

North Curl Curl Rock Pool is a winner! This 32 X 20 metre stunner is tucked away under some dramatic rocks at the northern end of North Curl Curl Beach.Being a rare example of a northern end pool, it is pounded more by big surf and is sometimes closed, but today was a good day. You can access it from the beach at low tide but we chose to get there via the coastal walk, as we’re not into scrambling over slippery rocks and we’re glad we did, as it’s a lovely walk along the headland on a well- maintained path.One edge of the pool is natural rock, with a huge boulder in the middle of a pool of varying depths, it’s home to much marine life that young snorkelers were enjoying discovering. This one is really, really beautiful and in our top five of the Sydney coastline.Closest parking, if you can’t find any on the nearby streets, is next to the surf club, but be warned, it’s extortionately priced: we paid $15 for 75 minutes. There’s a kiosk, change rooms and showers (indoor and outdoor) in the surf club.
