This was our situation.We had no experience whatsoever in reef aquaria as a hobby or profession. We decided, basically on a whim, to install a feature display consisting of a reef aquarium at the time of renovating our inner city Edwardian house.Without a doubt the success of our tank is totally attributable to the staff at Starfire Aquatics. They were involved with the process of planning, construction, installation and plumbing - all carried out by Billy in an expert and professional fashion. Following commissioning of the aquarium, Billy has extensively followed us up with tons of post marketing advice and care.In particular, as stated before, I entered the aquariast hobby with absolutely zero previous experience in how to run a reef aquarium. I found that Billy is highly experienced and has been so useful at passing on his expert knowledge to me. I now feel, after only a few months, very confident in this new found hobby and it is in no doubt attributable to hisexpert advice and support. Moreover, we had significantly limited space and Billy managed to construct a display tank and sump that was millimeter perfect to fit into the space that we had availableMoreover, I am pretty sure that we would have been faced with a number of disasters and crashes of the tank, however each time that I have felt something wasn't right, Billly was always available for help. He would often come around, have a look at the tank, advise what needed to be done and would always fix what was wrong. It appears to me that he takes a real enjoyment and active role in making sure that his clients have a successfully running setup.I am really impressed with his help. Billy has supplied us with ongoing hours of support, either by phone or in person on site. I really cannot recommend him and his team highly enough.

Had my starfire tank for over 4 years Billy went above and beyond to work with me to create a our bespoke peninsular tank for our living area/kitchen. Billy has a great deal of knowledge in the marine field and even now happy to give advice on the running and maintenance of my tank.

We had no idea about marine life besides how beautiful it was, so we decided to get a custom build tank for our home. Billy helped design, build and set up our tank. He was extremely patient, informative, friendly, trustworthy and accomodating throughout the entire process. We engaged Billy to help set up our inbuilt dream reef tank recently. We were totally new to the fish keeping hobby. He was able to inspire us to really get to understand the ins and outs of marine fish and coral keeping.Billy came to our house for our first consult and was incredibly approachable and knowledgeable. He was able to help engage a builder and helped coordinate part of the build process as it involved some work done to our existing house.Since then, he has built a beautiful tank and has set up our system so that it is ready to go. His aftercare is also thorough and he has helped us with some teething issues through phone calls and messages. Starfire Aquatics did an amazing job relocating my fish tank to it's new owner. This was a monster move of an 8x2.5x2.2 weighing over 300kg! I was overseas at the time but they coordinated everything between the buyer and my parents to access the house and complete the job. Engaged Billy to move a 10x4x2 foot tank, steel stand and 7x2 sump from Melton to Delahay. I was sceptical at first, but Billy and Starfire Aquatics brought years of experience and know-how to make a seemingly impossible job look easy. Billy took charge and proved finesse and experience trump's brute strength and my dream tank made it home without a single hiccup. Billy also spent time after the job giving me expert advice on setup, overflow, and sump ideas. Billy and Starfire also have great deals on hardware well below what I have seen elsewhere.
