Have you ever had the fear of going to the dentist?I did. My fear stemmed from Dentist’s that were only Dentist’s.They displayed next to no patient skills. Empathy and sympathy.With a mouth full of teeth in poor condition, it was finally time for me to do some internet research and find a real Dentist.After several months of searching. I finally found Dr. John Michalopoulos surgery on the internet.WOW!! I read everything on Dr. John’s website. All aspects were explained methodically, my fear was dissolving and a new confidence within me was growing.With a steely resolve to make my first visit, I quickly sent off an email, before I changed my mind.I clearly detailed my greatest fears.Within a very short time, I received a reply. I felt warmth and professionalism towards my fears.I made a booking!!On arrival at the surgery, I was anxious and my heart was beating rapidly.The Dental receptionist Anna must have seen people like me many times before.She made me welcome and comfortable while waiting.The hardest part for me was waiting my turn.Dr. John greeted me with a nice smile and a chat. I then headed to the surgery.Having an early appointment Dr. John gave me plenty of time to thoroughly explain what could be done with my teeth. I was now feeling relieved and more relaxed.Initially before my first visit I wanted a full lower set of implants, that’s how bad my teeth had become.Dr. John advised me otherwise. There’s nothing like having your own teeth in a newly repaired condition. Veneers.His advice was excellent and nothing short of extreme brilliance.After several visits Dr. John and his dental assistant Shendell performed the most amazing transformation ever.Here I am today with a new personal confidence and a smile that is brighter than any diamond.From my experience!! I have a phobia of dentists but after my toddler cracked my front tooth, there was no avoiding needing to visit one. John and the staff squeezed me in same day and worked magic to get my tooth fixed. John knew of my anxiety of visiting dentists and did everything to make me feel comfortable. There was absolutely no pain at any point which I am still in awe about! I have already booked my next appointment with John as I am now so excited I have a dentist I can trust! Thanks so much John and team, you are all amazing!

Excellent dentist and team. I had a crown created and put in by John 21 years ago, it's still going strong. I attended recently to have my first ever filling. The whole process was quick and pretty much pain free. John and Chenelle (apologies if I've misspelt that) were attentive, caring and talked me through each step they were doing. I was also able to see the photos and x-rays they took which was both gruesome and informative! While this isn't the cheapest dentist you'll visit (it's also not the most expensive), I think you pay for what you get - excellent quality and care. They are also comfortable discussing costs and any concerns I had regarding limits to what I could pay that day. John would explain if he felt they should do something additional and check with me before progressing. The whole team has a strong customer service ethic and everyone I interacted with was professional, friendly and approachable. Highly recommend this dentist, especially if you have a fear of dentists.

Dr John Michaelopoulos is the best dentist that I have ever gone to in my life. He truly cares about his patients and does his utmost to ensure their comfort. I have had a lifetime phobia of dentists and John puts me at ease. John's technique for giving needles is like nothing else I've experienced. I had 6 needles in one sitting and (truthfully) I hardly felt anything. I have never experienced that before with a dentist in my life. Yes he is more expensive than any other dentist that I have tried but for the peace of mind and for the fact that my anxiety levels stay low, it is worth it. His dental treatment is the best and I have tried a lot. You will not regret it. I have to also say that Anna is amazing too - so calm and efficient. Garth and Chandel (Dental Assistants working with John) are really lovely too.

I have spent a lot of time in Dental Surgeries and have never enjoyed my experience in them... I can quite honestly say John's is by far the most amazing Dental Surgery I have ever been to - whether it be because the surgery is just beautiful to walk into, or because Anna and the staff are amazing, always greeting you with big smiles and hellos or if it's just John's professionalism, calmness and experience that you just feel at home and comfortable in. I had 4 veneers done this year and cannot thank John and his team enough - I was so impressed and happy with the outcome, it has made me so confident to now smile and show my beautiful teeth off. Each appointment that I had with John was so relaxing knowing that that he knows what he is doing and he always only wanted the best outcome for me. I really cannot recommend John's Surgery enough!

John, Anna and all the team are caring, understanding and the best dentist. I take my 3 kids here and have been a client for 15+ years. John takes the time to explain everything and has given my 8 year old a needle and she didn’t even realise. Wouldn’t trust anyone else with my teeth!

I had porcelain veneers done at John's amazing dental practice. The process took a few months with several long appointments. I could not be happier with the service and the result. It was absolutely pain free, very comfortable, and efficient. All staff was exceptionally professional, helpful and friendly.A special thank you to John for my new beautiful smile. I love it! Dr John is the best Dentist around. He talked me through what work needed to be done on my teeth and was clear on the process and timing. The actual procedure was painless and over in two 1 hour sessions (I was scared it might hurt but if I knew how painless it was going to be I would have sorted out my teeth a long time ago!!!). Really stoked with how stress free the whole process was and now my teeth look and feel great. Thanks Dr John!

I've been in treatment by John and his team for the last 2 years and it was the best dentist experience I've had so far. The team is not only extremely knowledgeable, experienced, friendly and caring, but the practice also features state-of-the-art equipment. I've never felt any pain, as John really knows how to apply anaesthesia. Further everything is well documented with photos and X-rays which many places don't really do either. Thanks much!
