I am impressed with the work Chris undertook on my new European Beech timber bedhead. I was hoping to obtain a similar finish to my existing bedside tables which are an antique French style and around 70 years old. Chris took time to discuss the look and finish I was seeking. He was thorough and meticulous in his preparation, sanding smooth all parts of the wood that had been left rough by the carpenters. Chris even prepared those parts that would not be exposed because he knew that the overall finish and handle would be better – a hallmark of a true craftsman. Chris kept me informed of progress throughout the project and was easy to talk to. The end result is beautiful, has an elegant sheen and perfectly matches my bedside tables – I am delighted! I admire Chris’ professionalism and thorough attention to detail, characteristics which are so rare these days. It is clear Chris has a great deal of knowledge gained from working with many different types of wood, stains and antique finishes. Thank you, Chris, for your excellent work which I will appreciate for many years to come.

Chris Escriva was able to bring new life to our much loved board room table. The table had a number of heat marks and small scratches and Chris was able to bring it back to its former glory. The table looks brand new and the shine and depth of colour is gorgeous. Chris came to our offices out of normal office hours to minimise any disruption to other staff which was very much appreciated. I purchased floor stock from Coco Republic with the idea of restoring the table to it's former glory. I was a bit ignorant when it came to furniture restoration, however Chris took the time to review the photos and give me an honest opinion. He came the next day after the table was delivered and polished it back to it's former glory. I couldn't be happier with the service he offered. Scratch and scuff marks all but disappeared. The service and professionalism Christopher provided in French polishing my Parker desk was excellent. He was responsive and customer focussed on email, phone and in person.My desktop and back panel was French polished in an hour and it looks better than when I bought it eight years ago. The price was very reasonable and the follow up after care with advice on how to polish my desk was great.

I met Chris a few years ago, in fact I got his mob number from the side of his van while driving somewhere around Vaucluse in 2015 but did not get in contact till 2017 and we are so glad we did, he did a magnificent job on our Tasmanian Blackwood dinning room table and ever since he's has become our (only) go to guy for all of our antique furniture needs.
