Big Barber Shop Brindabella

First up - I rarely post bad reviewsEarly May I went to Big Barber for a hair cut as a change of scenery.It was not a good experience. My hairdresser could not communicate with me at all - No English. Secondly my ear was cut during the process with subsequent bleeding. A band aid was eventually applied which staunched the bleeding. Having had haircuts for over 55 years I cannot recall the last time my ear was clipped such that it bled profusely. That's why you go through an apprenticeship to be safe and competent with a client.A got a one word sorry at the cash registerI have only granted one star as that was needed for the post to be listed.I will never return

First review is over a year old...18 months later and still 5/5.Luigi is one of the best barbers I've had the pleasure of dealing with.Awesome service, very friendly, great stories to share and quick. When you're hard up for time, this is the place to go.Thanks again Luigi.

Very disappointed with the service. $34 for a lazy and very quick job from the Indian barber. Nah not recommended

Great experience all round. Chris was excellent to talk to and gave me an awesome haircut. I will definitely make this my regular barber. Would recommend to anyone.

Very reasonable pricing. I have always been happy with my haircuts by Luigi, he is very thorough with his craft. The store is also very clean and all staff are friendly and professional. Plenty of carparking. Highly recommend Big Barber, you won't be disappointed!!

Josh gave me one of the best haircuts I have had in a while. He was just taking over the business and seems really passionate about making his customers happy. Would make him my regular barber without doubt if I wasn’t just passing through.

The new owner Cesur did a good job on a simple cut. I feel much better now. He uses razor if requested. He is an old style barber, not like the new ones who are afraid of razor.

Visiting family in Canberra for a week and decided to get a haircut. Googled and found Big Barber Shop nearby. Not knowing the area was a bit of a pain but finally found the shop. Excellent fast friendly service that was well priced. I would certainly use them again when in the area.

One of the best haircuts I've had, and I've been to expensive barbers in large cities. Incredible care, skill and attention to detail. Wonderful service. Cannot recommend more.
