Ringwood Hospital & Emergency now Vetland

Took a seriously injured animal into this vet at around 12am. The vet on duty turned us away as they were 'full' she clearly didn't care and didn't offer names of any other vets we could go too, she just told us to leave and to go elsewhere .. we had to drive to Mount Waverley but by the time we got there it was too late for them to help and the animal had to be put down. We're absolutely gutted and knowing the animal could've been saved if the first vet cared enough is sickening.Trent - you would have none of my details in your system as the vet didn't bother taking the time to even ask my name. She simply said your clinic was full and turned me away without any further help.

Dr. Mananya Prateeppornsak and the nurse (Miranda?) were caring and supportive to us and our old hound. Made a difficult time just a little easier. Thank you.

This place is a money grabbing filthy unhygienic dump that should be shut down. The owners are chasing profit for life style and don’t have a compassionate connection for the life and welfare of owners loved ones. I wouldn’t take a dead pet here let alone a living one. There are far better emergency vets available and we only wish we had discovered those alternatives as the result would have been our lives pet would still be with us. Other emergency providers have been scathing of this establishments level of care and diagnosis. Stay we’ll clear if you care for you pet!

I recently took my dog to Ringwood animal hospital and was extremely disappointed with the level of care and knowledge provided by the staff. They seemed to have little understanding of dogs and were unable to properly diagnose my pet's condition. It was clear that their main focus was on making money, as they were willing to see patients in the middle of the night when other vets were not available.I found the staff to be unprofessional and unhelpful, and I would not recommend this hospital to anyone. If you care about your pet's health, I would advise you to find another hospital that is better equipped and more knowledgeable about animal care.

Our very loved dog became unwell over the weekend we took him here early Sunday morning. The care he received was amazing and I am so grateful. Thank you to the wonderful staff who attended to my beautiful boy. He is on the mend to a full recovery and I cannot thank you enough.

This is the second time we have used the emergency vet. Tonight Teddy our lab was stung by a bee. The staff were so friendly and caring. They made us feel calm and explained things thoroughly. Teddy was checked over and given an antihistamine injection and they were so gentle with him. Great service .

Went to this emergency centre as our regular vet could see us until later in the day. Our dog was not well and we wanted to have her seen quickly. I could not fault the service we received. Our dog was examined promptly and advice for her care given. We suspected she had been stung by a bee on or around her mouth. We would definitely use this service again should the need arise.

One star for Great reception/admin staff, clean facility, we were seen quickly. However my dog was mis diagnosed and after no communication with vet and me calling 3 times when they finally did call back we were told shes ok you can take her home. WRONG!!! Ended up taking her to my “normal” vet the next day as she was still in severe pain, she had a thoracic spine injury not a gut issue. She was treated with the right medication and is now my happy little girl again. So after spending MEGA $$$$$ at this vet with nothing resolved and the WORST communication I would not recommend them at all. GO ELSEWHERE!!!!
