One of the best restaurants in North West. Fantastic location with nice view overlooking the water. Great selection (non-vegetarian) from lunch menu. Food was great and service was amazing. Would definitely recommend if you are around Devonport. Plenty of parking. The restaurant is located on the second floor but elevator available.

Visited here on the 27th January for my birthday surprize dinner.Starting with the positives:Food was excellent with lots of flavours among all the dishes we ordered. Nice work Chef's.Decor was also nice and fancy.Pricing is a little expensive, however this is to be expected of what appears to be 5 star dining.Special mention to the male waiter who was not only friendly and smiled, but also appeared and sounded professional for a venue trying to do 5 star service, he stood out most above the rest of the employees. Sorry but I forgot his name ☺️ (with dread lock pony tail, dark skin)....The unfortunate negatives:Unfortunately some of the employees failed to smile at all which shows a lack of training or passion to do their job.The venue could use table cloths or fancy place mats as the knives looked out of place on the bare tables while the forks receive the napkin. Finally, with a lovely ocean view, perhaps having the outside of the windows professionally cleaned weekly might be a suggestion so customers can actually appreciate the view. All in all, the venue needs a few improvements to be up there with the 5 star venues charging 5 star prices. A great fancy dining venue in a small town worth a visit.

Shared a lovely meal with my partner at Mrs Jones. Gorgeous location overlooking the beach. Service staff were very friendly and the wait was not too long. Our mains were standout, the meat was fall-apart tender with sides and sauces that complemented them beautifully. We enjoyed our desserts too, super yummy flavours, and not too sweet! A large variety of drinks are available from the bar, but the only mocktail option sadly was a letdown for me.. was just a mediocre fruit smoothie.

Staff was friendly and helpful. View was exceptional as usual. Food was well presented but not up-to expectations (My last visit was in 2019). It’ll be great if the staff pay more attention to the entrances and the stairs.

Amazing food, excellent presentation and fresh distinct flavors. We tried lots of small plates that were offered promptly by the warm and friendly staff. We topped off our great meal with wines, a cheese platter and couldn’t resist the cleansing lemon sorbet. All these delights overlooking stunning Bass Strait.

Wonderful food..... that is allTerribly slow service. We were a group in their 60s, 70s and 80s with a set menu thinking it would be fairly straightforward.......NoIt was mind numbingly slow and we were Very Hungry. The Food was Delightful tho..... but another upseting thing was they were cleaning the dining room and setting up for the next day before we even got dessert... so flapping cloths and dragging chairs around making us feel like we were lingering instead of us who had Pre Ordered being kept waiting and hour between courses....

TLDR - Don't order the red duck curry, it's just full of sugary flavour which makes it less enjoyable to taste the ducks and other ingredients._____________________________________________________________After getting positive feedbacks from 3-4 locals, I decided to venture upon this journey for my taste buds. Only little did they know that they would be disappointed. There was a wait time on the food which got me excited and eager to taste my meal. My hopes got even higher thinking surely if the menu has the price for mains high, there has to be something good about it. However, after a bit of wait when the food finally came, it looked amazing, the presentation was really on point. As soon as I tasted the first bite, it was just a strong flavour of some sugary sauce like curry. I had been warned by the waiter before about it's sweetness before the food came to me but that level of sweetness took away all ingredients flavour which could have been expressed. This includes a lychee, potato and the main one DUCK. I could only feel sweetness with different textures from various ingredients. The green bean stems were intact make it a hard to chew. At one point, I started contemplating about different ways to change the flavour like adding salt, pepper or maybe water. However, I paid to be served not to instead change up the recipe. I don't think it's a meal to spend your money on. It did feel my stomach but not my appetite for mouth watering delicious food.Definitely might go there back for other stuff on the menu but not that one ever again.

One of the few must visit restaurants in Devonport. The decor and service are both fantastic. A slightly more expensive option but well worth the price.

Definitely one of the best restaurants in Devonport! I thoroughly enjoyed my beautifully-plated brunch platter of smoked bacon, scrambled eggs, hash brown, sourdough and tomato relish:) Loved my mug of Cappuccino too - I requested for extra cream and I was very promptly served some in a separate little mug:) Truly exceptional service & the staff were really hospitable. I felt welcomed the moment I walked through the doors! The restaurant is set right next to the crashing waves of the Mersey Bluff & just a scenic walk away from the iconic Bluff Lighthouse! Would highly recommend Mrs Jones’ to anyone who’s planning to visit Devonport:)
