'Don't Fret Pet!' Canberra

Don't Fret Pet is an excellent service. Booking via the website is easy, staff (especially Carole) are friendly and responsive and all carers that we have had for our Jack Russell have been lovely people. Max always comes home from his holidays bouncing with joy. We love Don't Fret Pet and won't go anywhere else!

I have been using Don’t Fret Pet for the past 3years for care for my 6yr old spoilt Schnoodle whilst we have had family holidays (ranging from weekend trip to 3 weeks overseas).From the first time I made contact Carol she was very accommodating to my needs, matching us with a fantastic pet sitter Olaf in our area. We met the pet sitter in their home to check out that everyone was happy, in terms of sleeping arrangements, eating, exercise, From the minute Pepper met the sitter she was very relaxed, and went off exploring every inch of the backyard.On each holiday that we take Olaf always answers our text messages and sends photos if I need to see what she is up to. We have used kennels in the past and on our return Pepper is always quiet, often has anxiety, frets and doesn’t eat. With the pet sitter service through Don’t Fret Pet, on our return she is happy and we see no change I her behaviours. I love how she can be inside the home with Olaf just like she is at our home and not locked in a cage or dog run. Another feature of this service I am extremely impressed with is the GPS tag which gets placed on the dogs collar as soon as your pet arrives at the home, it’s an added feature and reassurance that your pet is safe and trackable in the event of escaping the sitter.I would highly recommend the Don’t Fret Pet service to anyone who wants home based care for their fur family member. A brilliant service.

My contact with my pet minder, Lynne, was great from the first contact right through to the end of the sit. Lynn impressed me with her caring attitude and attention to myself and especially my dog and looking after his needs. Very efficient service. Minding is great as the lovely dogs I have looked after have brought me some great company and more of an incentive to exercise. Minders can be very specific in the size and type of dog they mind and will be given the opportunity to meet both owners and dogs beforehand to ensure a good 'fit'.

Our 14 year old cavoodle, Alfie was very well cared for by Trudy. Alfie is old and less mobile than previously, and Trudy was very attentive to his needs. Trudy has a great garden and lots of time to spend with pets.
