Woolworths at SmithfieldFirst Visited on 12/7/2022This supermarket is different from many others; it has wide open frontage. Other than that, the store layout is similar to almost all Woolworths, with vegetables displayed at waist level on the right side of the store, frozen food on the left, and dairy and chilled products at rear end.Overall, it is a clean and bright store.Although I am technologically savvy, I still like to go through the staffed checkout. My wife is in queue, while I stand at the front end of the counter, ready to help in packing. The staff was chatty when serving the customer in front of my wife. However, my wife receives not even a Hello from the same staff. I wonder she suffers from split personality disorder.After my wife has paid for the groceries, there is not a word of thank you" or "have a nice day" from the staff. I can stand no more

Very efficient staff.Very welcoming.We enjoyed Yada's King Prawn Stir fry and Coconut Seafood. Both very well presented and yummy.

Great supermarket size and range. Does become quite cramped with nightfill cages and boxes on the floor. Limited 'long lane' registers open in the evenings which is a major frustration

Shop at Woolworths on a regular basis inside Smithfield Shopping Mall & always find a good variety of fresh produce & paying through self check out without any delay & always found the staff to be helpful.

It's pretty awful how the staff that are stocking and sorting out the online orders treat the regular customers.I understand they have their job to do but the pushyness and pure lack of respect is sad.

Lack of stock on shelves in all areas has continued since beginning of covid.Staff fulfilling online orders aren't considerate of in-store shoppers.

Woolies Smithfield has seniors hours and low sensory stimulus hours for the elderly and parents of kids with autism. In store deli, bakery and a great selection of fruit and veg. 4 undercover disabled bays about 100m from store entry. Wheelchair accessible, carpark has some slight inclines and kerb ramps are a little bit steep for less fit manual chair users but not too hard to negotiate. Later evening hours some aisles can become cluttered as stock is moved out for restock to begin later, chair and scooter users may need to do a lap to get to products on the far end of the aisle.
