The quote was done incorrectly so this meant the job turned out to be more expensive and took longer. We had to wait a while to book in initially then another week for someone to come back again to complete the job. Handyman was initially professional but this changed when the job went wrong. Receptionist lady abrasive over the phone not pleasant. Complete job not finished properly in the end - see photo. Paid to get the drama over with. Would not recommend. Poor attention to detail.

Hire a Hubby is such a professional and reliable service its hard to beat. Having jobs properly quoted on without having to worry about extras is a big plus and instills confidence in the service.Ray is everything you could possibly want in a handyman. Reliable, prompt, knowledgeable, fastidious with clean up, friendly without being intrusive and an all round good guy. Highly recommend!

Thanks for a great job from start to finish. Ray quoted and measured. Nick installed shelves and hung artwork.Their attention to detail, friendly dispositions and excellent work were all greatly appreciated. Won't hesitate to call them again.

Ray has to be the best looking hire a hubby out there. He is also incredibly professional, knowledgeable experienced and hard-working. We had Ray attend to our house for repairs and it was absolutely pouring with rain day he was booked in. That did not stop him. He turned up in his wet weather gear and proceeded to work in the most miserable of conditions to get the job done. Not only did he get the job done but no one that we hired prior to him had been able to resolve the problem. I highly recommend Ray Carter and we certainly won’t be using anyone else except him in the future. Can’t thank you enough.

I recently used Ray Carter of Hire A Hubby Narrabeen for roof repairs.Ray turned up to quote the work and provided a detailed proposal upon inspection. Upon acceptance he scheduled in the job around our requirements, turned up on time and completed everything to a high standard over 2 days.Ray is professional, friendly, communicative and honest. And unlike many tradies, he cleans up on completion of the work!We are very happy and highly recommend Ray and the services he provides. Will use again! 5 stars!

Ray came to quote a repair job on a pergola built by someone else that had insufficient slope and was leaking. It was successfully fixed in a few hours! Everyone I have dealt with at Hire a Hubby has been on time, courteous and Ray came to check job was completed to high standard. I would definitely use them in the future!
