Restaurant Eighty Eight
Went there for anniversary dinner and couldn’t rate it high enough. Service, food, atmosphere were all amazing. Had three course meal and a bottle of wine and cost was reasonable. Didn’t leave there hungry as portion sizes were good. Definitely recommend and will go there again.

A cosy high tea experience in a boutique estate with quaint gardens and neat vineyards.Overall, food was good but not great.However, the scones were one of the best I've had. It's deceptively crisp on the outside but crumbles away into a buttery and soft interior. The ratio was perfect, not too tall, so not too bready. The jam was also really delicious.The donut was another stand out. Filled with chocolate and like biting into clouds.Sandwiches were very average. Too much lettuce and nothing interesting about the fillings. Desserts we're good but also not great, included macarons, petit flours, nougat and donuts.

Best place ever. Farmer wants a wife apparently shoots here. Hi Tea was good even if two toddlers made it not so graceful.

High tea food was overall average not great - fresh scones although the filling in sandwiches were not generous on the salmon and ham etc. The desserts were also ok.To give it an extra star I would recommend making the tea and coffee unlimited like other high tea places do and just small touches to make the birthday celebration more special (like a candle or just saying happy birthday!) cleanliness could be better as our table cloths were dirty on arrival

Lovely high tea, and pretty cheaply priced when compared to the city.With only one other group there when we were having it, the atmosphere was great! Also had a walk around the whole place (and around the other restaurant) afterwards which is well worth doing.

Great high tea on the verandah. The tea selection and treats were just enough and we didn't feel rushed. Looking forward to returning.

My wife and I dined at Restaurant Eighty Eight today (25/10/20) for High Tea and had a wonderful time! Thank you to Jess and the team for your friendly, fun and professional service. The venue does an exceptional job transporting guests to a bygone era. The tea, warm scones (5/5) and setting showcase a truly class act. The macarons (4/5) have a superb crisp shell only to be marred slightly by the filling. The rest of the petit fours were wonderful. Thank you again for lovely time. We count Restaurant Eighty Eight among our favourite high tea venue in Australia, and will be back again, hungry for more.
