TYM T194 is of itself a capable little tractor, unfortunately the mower deck, a TYM MM48, has a major flaw in design of the drive system and has failed dozens since it was a few months old. This tractor is in showroom condition, regularly wanted, lubed and kept in a locked garage. Yet it fails after no more than an hour of mowing kikuyu.When I bought this to the attention of Inlon after sales service, in person because a) they failed to order parts and b) they do not respond to emails, their service was extremely poor. They; had no record of two parts orders made on different dates, spoke lowly of T194 only 12 horse" (when the brochure says 19hp)

I did a lot of research before buying the TYM T503 HST ROPS tractor. I didn’t want a Chinese tractor, and I looked at Massey Ferguson and Kubota amongst others. The TYM T503 certainly came out on top for value for money with a good reputation. It’s well made and with a Perkins engine, I knew it would be a quality tractor. The HST is great—so simple to change from low to high speed range and 2WD to 4WD. The 3 point linkage makes it easy to attach implements such as fork tines, and the TYM T503 has fantastic lift capacity.Craig A, Somersby, NSW
