Chemist Warehouse Balmain Darling St

There is one particular chemist worker who has been very rude to me both in-store and on the phone. Very purposefully unhelpful, short and simply won't listen to what you're asking. Had another bad interaction with this person on the phone today, looking for a script of mine with their response being we've never dispensed this before" (This is my local chemist and I go quite regularly). After pushing and pushing they found the script from a few months ago even though they had just repeatedly told me (at least four times) that I had never gotten it there before. I had run out of this script and was struggling to find out if I had any repeats left and this person again was unkind

The older cashier lady was rude and initially refused to return an item because the price shown was different from the purchase price.

I buy medications and other items from here regularly for almost a year now. The staff on the ground are helpful, however, the new in training/graduates pharmacists need more training and specifically “social skills” on how to interact and communicate with customers.

A great big shop with pretty much everything you want from a chemist / supplies store. Staff are also very helpful here and there are many things that are very well priced for the market.Wide range of supplements, bath and beauty products and so on. Not normally the kind of store I visit a lot but nice to know it’s there and does offer some savings on many other such places in the area.

Lovely pharmacy with professional Pharmacists and team. I recently took charge over my elderly mothers medications (she’s been very disorganised when it comes to this and was recently discharged from hospital.) Even though he looked quite busy at the time, the Pharmacist took the time and care to assist me in getting everything in order and gave me a good understanding of the situation. They’ve also got lots of specials and things to look at while you wait. A wonderful addition to the Balmain community landscape! Many thanks... Jenny.

I have a disability with chronic pain I go to chemist warehouse to only save money for my prescriptions as it's cheaper than buying from other local chemists. Often they don't have medications that are commonly asked for with long delayLocals are not treated like locals but rather strangers in out customers more friendly service in Woolworth balmain where they know locals and say helloToday I had to get my medication as they have only 1 chair for disabled customers as I was suffering in pain and they couldn't provide a chair as I had to sit on the floor. I told the lady who was serving me and can't remember who she was serving as she smiled and laughed thinking that it's funny for people who are in pain when they have no idea what it feels like.

Absolute incompetent people at the back. Getting a vaccine for my daughter which I can see was kept 2 steps away from the chemist in the refrigerator at the back. Was asked to wait for 10 mins (ok, but it’s right there). And “20 mins” later I finally get the vax, this is when I had already told them that the docs and nurses were waiting next door to administer the vaccine. The clownsmanship was so good that I did start to wonder if I was in a pharmacy or a circus.Other CWs are much better at handling volumes.

Lady pharmacist named Su has been very rude, saying that I can go to another pharmacist if I wish when I was asking for some clarity, and was giving me attitude as she felt like I was “accusing her”. This arrogance and bullying attitude and behavior is simply unacceptable. I just wish you could seriously to get your staff trained up on customer service skills.

Came to Chemist Warehouse for some essential medical items and I was quite surprised of how they’re running the store given the current pandemic. There was only one worker at the register and the line was building up quite massively (given the covid precautions this is a huge red flag). No staff came and helped them either when it was obvious they were over capacitated and the queue was massive. Ended up leaving before being served. It’s a shame because their stock is great.

Staff at the front counter deserve 5 stars.Staff during the week at the dispensary are dreadful. They are rude and not willing to check if any of the medications not available are at the central warehouse and can be transferred. On two occasions I knew the medication was available to be transferred but they lied and said it wasn’t. I ended up traveling up to Erina CW and getting my pharmacist daughter to get it. I think I will take my business elsewhere from now on.
