Torrens Arms Hotel
Had dinner there 3 weeks ago with 6 orhers, very underwhelming. Had to ask 3 times for table water, wines very expensive and slow service.Food poorly presented and accompanying salad a joke. Burger served to the lady next to me looked very substandard. Pork belly looked the best served on the night. My S&P calamari was thrown on the plate and average at best.Much better pubs around than this.

Held my Birthday Party on Saturday in the courtyard for 70 people. 5 out of 5 TA. The food, the service was excellent. The pre planning was just so easy and professional, nothing was any trouble Excellent Job Cooper ! (Function Manager).

A group of 6 for lunch today - great service, delicious food and the atmosphere relaxing. The lower dining room area is very conducive to communication away from the buzz of the upstairs dining area. The staff weee wonderful - thank you! We have booked again for our next catchup.

Hmm...twice in a row disappointed. Food is underwhelming. Pizza looks nice, but at a table of 12 the pizza and grilled chicken were the only thumbs up meals. 25 bucks for a burger that is only marginally better than maccas is not acceptable. Service is excellent, kudos to waiting staff, but menu needs a revision

Table of 8, staff was friendly enough but lost part of the order and tried to justify it away at pay time when raised. 7 of the meals were OK however the pork belly (the dearest item) gave my wife food poisoning and took 5 days to get over!! Yuck!! The TA has always been hot n cold over the years but this was the final straw and we will avoid from now on!

We held our sons 21st here in the outdoor function space. Staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. Great service, great location and fantastic food. Highly recommend for anyone looking to book for a birthday etc. The event coordinator (apologies, can’t remember her name) was professional, attentive and couldn’t have done more to accomodate us. Well done team for making everyone feel welcome and for making the boys night a success! Staff deserve a congrats for how friendly they were and for the service which they provided!

I'm not one to complain but after a very unsatisfactory meal i felt obliged to leave a review. On a quiet tuesday night my wife and i went to the TA for a quick feed. I chose the buttermilk fried chicken burger at $23.50. The meals came out pretty quickly and unfortunately that is where the positives ended. The burger that i was presented with was saddest burger i have ever seen. As i said, i wouldn't cause a fuss normally but i did take the burger back after seeing a lack of contents of the burger to a staff member and asked is this what is normally served. The staff member said she would take it to the chef and ask. A few moments later the burger returned in the same sad state and i was informed this is how it is presented. To set the scene the burger came with a minuscule amount of chicken, minimal sauce, 2 pieces of lettuce, 2 flavourless pickles, dry burger bun and chips. No decent chef would be proud to serve up that joke.

Had 4 main meals and 2 Entree’sGarlic bread $11Arancini $17.50Garlic bread was extremely dry. So wasn’t happy with that.Arancini was absolutely delightful. So flavourful.Beef Schnitzel $26.50TA Beef Burger $23.502x Buttermilk Fried Chicken Burger $22.50Beef Schnitzel was very goodThe TA Beef Burger was absolutely amazing will definitely have again.Unfortunately the buttermilk fired chicken burgers were so dry and chewy so very disappointed in that. They put the tiniest dash of sauce on the bun.Overall pleasant experience and the wait staff were so so polite. Very happy.
