Grossly overpriced. Charging $30 (could have been $25) for a pair of bulk service stock resin Shimano B05S pads that retail for $200 for 25 (that's $8 a pair). Wholesale on these bulk pads is likely around $5 a pair.Wanted $40 for a pair of off brand metallics when the Shimano version retails at $25.Usual rip-off that started online shops. Stay away unless you absolutely need the part right that second.

I didn't mean to buy a new bike, just get a baby-seat put on my old one, but such brilliant service from Will and I walked out with a new bike. So refreshing getting good old-fashioned service from a real local store - definitely good for the soul. I really appreciated all of the assistance I got. Thank you!

Used to go to this store for years, knew previous owner well, went on rides with him, nice guy.Heard a lot of rumors that the new owner is very rude, but I always had good experience with him as well.I bought a kids bike from them once, they serviced my other bike - not a top notch job, but decent, I would get them a B, more than ok for a rural shop. (I.e. they couldn’t get my hydraulic brakes working properly after service despite me specifically requesting that.)One day I finally experienced the rudness, it came out of the blue, and it was so abrupt and unprompted that I was completely baffled. Finally I understood why my neighbors - avid mountain bikers, have sworn never to go here again. :-(They still did the job. Honestly its good to have this shop in the community, I wish they were more stable and knew how to deal with people. To be fair, pandemic situation never makes it easier, but as far as I know they were in a habit of being rude even before it started.I would definitely feel uneasy leaving my bike for a service here.I wish this store the best, and send many thanks for the good years. After Today, I don’t really want to be rolling the dice every time I visit. So I will try to visit only if I absolutely have to.Such a shame.

True Wheel Cycles is truely a pleasure to deal with. From the moment I walked in the door the service was welcoming and professional. I had repairs done to my bike and its never been better. Will the mechanic was amazing and he took the time to make sure I knew exactly what was wrong and what was involved getting back on the road. I have used other repairers in the Northern Rivers and none come close to True Cycles

A great shop, the owner went out of his way to help me out part way through a bike tour. He said he really wants to appeal to people bike touring and his stock reflects that; great range and fantastic service.Highly recommended.

Dropped in on our bikepacking trip from Sydney to Brisbane. Love this little shop! Both the people there were friendly and great for a chat. The workshop was big and well-equipped by the looks of it, and the shopfront had everything you need (and good quality) for everyone from casual/recreational riders to touring cyclists. If you're making your way up/down the coast, drop in here to top up your supplies and grab a bite from any of the local food spots.

This used to be a great friendly shop. Have been using them for years. They have a good range of bikes and lots of knowledge. However, the younger off-sider of the owner has absolutely NO people skills. He is rude and arrogant and should not be dealing with customers.I had my bike booked for a service. After being disregarded and yelled at on drop-off, I left bike feeling uneasy. After a few days not hearing anything I ventured in hoping the owner was there so I could liaise with him. Unfortunately aforementioned blonde dude was there. He was not forthcoming with an answer. I stood there as he helped a young hippy woman get her bike out of her car, promising to repair hers asap. What about mine I thought? Eventually it was serviced after me calling in a few times.I will be looking elsewhere for a bike repair shop, despite living in Mullum. Awful service

I’m only fairly new to cycling and the team at True Wheels have always gone out of their way to help in anyway they could with services, answering my many questions and always ending my visit with a “anytime” We are very lucky to have this service in our area and I’m sure like all small business they have been through a lot in the past 3 years. Thanks True Wheels

It was high time I brought myself a new bike. Wanted to shop local , glad I did as Will the mechanic helped steer me in the right direction in which type of MTB would best suit my needs.{I went for a steel frame hardtail, It's awesome!} He has been great with the few adjustments I've asked for to get the bike totally dialled!. Great after purchase service.
