I was at the self checkout last week and there was $80 approx still showing owing on the screen. Some young people with full bags exiting the front. Who's paying for these scummy thieces. We are through higher prices to cover the cost of thieving. Come on COLES concentrate and don't let them get away it with a slap on the hand. You need a security guard with permission to grab and detain people.

Walked into the store I have been frequenting for over 25 years looking for fresh seafood and found the manned deli section removed and replaced with a long fridge wall of prepackaged goods. MORE soft plastic packaging and no more fresh deli foodsAlso what happened to the Coles policy of chosing to employ people from disadvantaged sections of society?Nearly all the manned registers were pulled out in the past month and replaced with self serve.No warning or customer input opportunity that I saw before sudden changes.Am starting to agree with the idea that the single storey store and carpark may indeed be deliberately setting up for future closure and multistorey redevelopment.Still won't be coming back unless deli and manned checkouts are reinstated.

There is no customer service here! The Karen on the self serve accused me and my partner of stealing. They just embarrassed themselves when they were wrong, but the nerve they have to think they can just blindly throw accusations like that without evidence is absurd. She should not be allowed to work with the public and is a complete failure of a human being. go pack shelves luv, but you probably can't even do that.

Coles Wynnum now after their recent renovations is now a complete dog's breakfast with the complete closure of their delicatessen and all small goods is prepackaged and went in early this morning with a fair bit of shopping in my trolley and not one single checkout was open, needed bags to bag groceries and about 10 self serve checkouts but not one where you need assistance for normal shopping. My mother once worked in this store and she'd be turning in her grave at the abysmal mess management has now created there !!!

Wondering if there are plans to close this Coles down in the near future. Certainly finding ways to chase consumers away. Less access to checkouts manned by staff, no deli. Just seems the service is reducing. We've decided to either go to Woolies or the Plaza. Very disappointed.

Recent refurbishments means I can't find anything. They obviously employ less staff (e.g. no deli anymore and only 1 service checkout manned, with 1 other staff member on the self-serve)

Not a large Coles store and not aways carrying what I'm after.But a nice bakery section and always looks inviting.Parking is ok but can be tricky.

The shut down of the deli is a bad move. Now, with Woolies and their deli, just across the road, I'll have no reason to go into Coles unless Bonsoy is on special.

Excellent store, however it pays to be mindful of the numerous venomous snakes that are known to roam the area. Bring a bag of cat treats, or help yourself to one in the pet section, to ward them off.
