The weekly special was pork nachos. As I'm a vegetarian I asked the chef if he could make a vegetarian nachos and he said yes. When it arrived it was the most delicious thing I've ever experienced. Every bite was a joyful experience of vegetarian bliss. I send my compliments through this review.

Both if us always enjoy the back area under the trees with tasty lunch. This time avo and mushroom meals followed by scones, jam & cream with cappuccino and hot chocolate.

This is our new favourite weekend cafe. Always nice and chill. I took my friends for high tea yesterday. Everyone was impressed with the food and atmosphere. We had a lovely afternoon and took plenty of pictures!

Went for brunch. Took 20 minutes for drinks to arrive, and nearly an hour and 15 minutes for our food to arrive as the staff didn't pass on our order to the kitchen. Meals were unfortunately disappointing and very expensive. Front-of-house staff offered a 30% discount for the wait, but wouldn't go back.

The Bank Bazaar is a unique bar & restaurant that offers wonderful food in a dining destination.Fashioned from an art deco bank chambers in the heart of Richmond, old world charm combined with antiques & curios meets delicious modern cuisine with friendly service.Enjoy indoor or outdoor dining. A spacious shaded courtyard with a gorgeous Jacaranda makes for a wonderful outdoor setting.The service is pleasant, attentive & friendly. I rate the food highly for both quality & freshness. There’s a selection of beautiful mains that cater for the most discerning or simple palate. Burgers, salads and a variety of food are all on offer with vegetarian options.The vibe is chilled, informal & family friendly with a touch of class but not stuffy. Non obtrusive live music is offered in the courtyard on Saturdays providing the perfect place for a birthday, celebration or function.Food & drinks is reasonably priced.

Great coffee and sweets selection! We had the mushrooms on toast and the chicken burger which tasted great and had very generous portion sizes for the price.The outside area is beautiful, especially because we came when the jacaranda tree was in full bloom! They also have a nice play area for kids.

Lovely but not great if you’re gluten intolerant or coeliac. I had visited the cafe when it first opened with a large group & 3 of us were in this category but there was literally nothing gluten free for us so we had to go across the road to buy something to bring back & eat. The owner was very nice about it & said she would add some gluten free meals to the menu so I decided to try them again. Unfortunately when I visited today the gf quiche/frittata wasn’t available so my only choices were a Caesar salad or a toasted sandwich/smashed avocado made with gf bread. I had the smashed avocado which was nice enough but it’s just disappointing that with so many people needing to eat gluten free these days there wasn’t a few more choices. (They do have some gf cakes though)

Great location inside & out but with unfriendly staff. My friend invited me for a lunch in Bank Bazar as she is going away for a while & needed to have a chitchat. Place is really wonderful & nicely arranged indoor & outdoor. We chose to sat outside as my kids can play & we can sit under the shade of the tree. The first waiter arrived was friendly & took the order. I ordered a a Creamy chicken soup & later on I was informed it was unavailable. My friend ordered a Crispy Skin salmon fillet & they again came back & said it was unavailable. The waiter who came for the second time was unfriendly & he was very unhappy to replace pepper when I asked. I had to order a burger & the bun was dry & no taste at all. It is good if the staff can have a training how to treat their customers in a friendly manner. A happy customer will return often.

Our favourite place to go. The owners have worked so hard to improve the beautiful setting outside. Their service is amazing. Nothing is too much trouble. Always remember us and welcome us back. Food is delicious especially their desserts. Was there today. Never got to thank the owner for having one of their wait staff deliver a treat on the house. Their staff are very obliging. Great to see the young ones get the opportunity to work in such a caring environment. Well done. Will always recommend for anyone wanting a quaint coffee catchup or meal. Live entertainment is great on the weekend. Thank you.
