Site 9, Waterworks Reserve
This is a very pretty place for a walk around the lake. Lots of bird life and wallabies inhabit this place. It has great facilities including toilets, picnic seats and benches. Undercover sheds complete with gas BBQs can be booked for functions.

Site 9, Waterworks Reserve
It's the pick of the bunch with a large under cover area, including 2 BBQs, and easy parking and vehicle access with at least a dozen parking spaces. It's the very last site at the far end of the reservoir. There are walks into the surrounding bushland nearby, as well as a toilet block. The site is on a relatively steep slope, so isn't suitable for ball games, but frisbee would be ok.

A great place to take family for a barbecue. Lots of birds. Its a very serene spot. You can book a barbecue site from the Hobart City Council.

A very pleasant BBQ area for a family birthday celebration. Enclosed with a deck and a view over the top reservoir this is perfect in any sort of weather.

Attended a beautiful wedding ceremony and reception here, testament to the setting and efforts of the couple to make the day connected to Tassie and celebrate their day.No lights inside the Site 9 hut, but no issues during the daylight.At dusk expect to see dozens of local critters especially wallabies.

Great outdoors venue for a larger group. Two free electric bbqs undercover. Lots of bench tops, tables and room undercover to host a medium sized event. Lovely bush setting and walking trails. Clean public toilets close to this site.

This is the site for a larger gathering. A pademelon popped in to say hello. 2 BBQ plates & a tap nearby. Plenty of seating and tables. A perimeter bench is useful for extra prepping. Lovely outlook & well away from others if you get a little rowdy.
