I had laser done here. They had my notes from my last salon I went to (KOTARA) and had my treatment plan. I came to this one (TAMWORTH) and they put me on the low setting meaning that my treatment results aren't effective. Staff here are often quite rude and this salon is hard to get appointments as they decide to close Mondays.So, I've had to return to the Kotara salon to have extra appointments to fix my treatment so it actually works.

I’ve been receiving laser hair reduction services from this business for over 3 years.They have recently changed management but the staff are similar and just as friendly. As with any service that involves humans there are day-to-day variations; they are not robots. However LCA have always demonstrated excellent professionalism.One area they have exceeded expectations is to accomodate my unpredictable daily schedule. On many occasions they have been able to adjust appointment times without issue. I’ve even walked in off the street (because I’ve suddenly found myself with a spare hour) and been quickly treated due to staff flexibility.As for my actual hair reduction: I’ve never experienced unsightly red patches that often resulted from treatments from other similar companies. LCA seem to take greater care and also prep the area with gel (other companies skimp in this area and treat the area “dry”) and use better quality eye protection compared to other companies eg: not just cheap plastic sunglasses! I’ve also never felt rushed as I have with other companies. I plan to continue using LCA indefinitely and also buy vouchers for my family which are always appreciated.

Unfortunately my experience was similar to other reviewers experience.I had laser today and the setting was so low I could hardly feel the laser. I did mention this to the technician who tried to say it was on the appropriate setting. I have been getting laser for over 8 years and have had probably over 30 laser sessions before and this felt nothing like other sessions!The technician also was not confident (or as she said, she was taught not touch the skin or move anything around with hands) so I felt like many areas were not really hit properly with the laser.I was open to giving it a try despite the reviews. The girls at the front counter were nice, and the technician who performed the laser was friendly and nice. However she seemed perhaps unskilled; which is okay, everyone has to learn, but it’s not good when you receive second tier service.

Service is inconsistent. On rare occasions very good but otherwise you are just a number with constant obvious attempts to upswell products and add-ons during treatment, the quality of which varies considerably depending on which therapist you get. I’ve had the machine turned up to a high setting by an excellent therapist who unfortunately was only there a short time and then on the next treatment low again by the manager - which I can see from another review is an issue at Tamworth. When they can’t perform a full treatment due to their “safety policy” the conversation is centred around the inability to split prepaid services or an opportunity for them to sell you another partial service as opposed to alleviating any discomfort your experiencing by being left in their freezing cold treatment room - minus most of your clothing. A truly degrading experience.
