Scanlon Contracting

Unprofessional, unorganised, not recommend.I arranged for Scanlon Contracting to put in some pool fencing at my property. It took them 9 weeks before they started the job. They showed up unannounced half completed the fence, didn't install pool gates and then left without word. I then received several invoices even though the job had not been completed. It took numerous phone calls chasing them to come back and complete the work. Each pool fence post had very sharp edges from where they were cut and not filed off. I had to do this myself. I have since paid the invoice but I'm still receiving invoices asking for payment. Why?????

Excellent customer service; delivering high quality fencing. I have used Scanlons on several occasions and have always been very happy with there work and would highly recommend using them for any project!

I had got these guys to do all my fencing jobs so gave them loads of work1 long one was great one guy did it very quick n great job front fence ok but messy concrete left on gate base shocking very untidy the other fence had to be moved after doing as was in wrong spot not their fault however they just cut posts and left exposed sharp cuts instead of digging out about 8 i asked them ti come back to fix they never came always excuses i had to pay a handyman to dig out in the end as clearly after numerous calls they werent coming i had loads of trouble with gate not lining up would not use again. Not sure if same guy did the lot though.

We ordered 4 colorbond fence extensions from Scanlon's. They were very helpfull in assisting us to decide what we required to do the job ourselves. It was ordered and within no time we received a call to say it was ready to pick up. Sam and Amelia assisted not only with quotations, but advice on having the the fencing notifications filled out and attended to for my neighbors. Due to the timing and many sites being too wet to attend, they were also able to bring my job forward as they knew it took a while to get neighbors signatures on the forms. The estimate was accurate to the final invoicing. I've also since had them back to do an extension and gates and again they were a pleasure to deal with, making it a simple process. Thankyou!

Can't Believe this place and how unprofessional they (mainly one staff member) are. Went in to buy some fence extensions to raise a fence myself. Upon entering the office staff member was very unprofessionally having an argument on the phone then once off the phone began complaining to me about the lack of doctors available in bendigo, I ignored this and asked what parts would be required to do my job and was sold a box of risers to do the job. Went to attempt the job that weekend and realised as soon as I opened the box the risers sold to me did not fit the type of fence. Job couldn't be completed. Wasted more time trying to get the correct pieces. Went to take back the incorrect risers this morning. Samantha in the office (same staff member from last time) from the get go was incredibly rude. She unpacked the box of risers and found scratches on nearly every single piece. She straight away tried to say I had damaged them and implied I was a liar when I explained I only opened the box realised the first one out of the box was wrong then closed the box. She then went on to say it was my fault for not specifying what type of fence I had and that even though they are a fencing company it's not there job to ask. She then proceeded to lie and say she told me when I purchased that there was no refunds. This was never mentioned. In the end after getting quite aggressive towards me and blaming me for being sold the wrong thing I was given a refund. I would never deal with them again and advise no one else to either.

Company worked on our fence and did an extremely poor of job of communication, quality and cleanup. The cleanup is by far the worst part, literally leaving scraps behind in our backyard and leaving stating not their responsibility, when they walked past our bin for power for their generator and didn't have the courtesy to put it in the bin.
