Was excited to try after reading good reviews but I was pretty underwhelmed. $27 beef bento box only came with tenderised fatty beef strips, veggie spring rolls had an odd meaty pork type smell and weren’t pleasant. When you charge restaurant prices you can’t get away with takeaway type food.

Very quick service when we got in. When we emptied the water jug we got a refill almost instantly. Although we waited 50 mins for our food, the food was very good. They gave us 3 soft drinks for free because they took so long which I have never seen in my history of restaurants At least 5 tables in the restaurant but not too crowded. Overall, the time should be faster normally and was a great restaurant

We were having a short vocation here and just stayed around this place. The food was amazing and super delicious.My children ate 2 meals in a time. Curry was unbelievably delicious. Highly recommended. Will visit again if we come up here next time.

Stunning meal and friendly staff.I highly recommend this Japanese restaurant. Especially the chicken was so crispy , nicely cooked golden and brown. Delicious ❤I loved all I ordered and can't wait to visit again to taste other food.

Highly recommend. Most delicious chicken Katsu curry and hands down the best teriyaki tofu in Aus. Not to mention very affordable (with some lunchtime special too) and humble service. We went for take away both times. Will become our go-to when visiting the area.

Great find on our afternoon walk. We had the Korean fried sweet and spicy chicken combo deal which was delish and comes with 2 beers. Crispy tuna sushi is a good size serving and really yum. Also had to try the honey potatoes which were yum too. We will definitely be back

If you're in Alexandra Headland and looking for a great spot for Japanese food, NikoNiko Japanese Table is definitely worth checking out. They offer a great lunch special, which is a good value and a great way to sample a variety of different dishes.I have to say that the chicken katsu wasn't quite up to par. It was a bit ordinary and didn't have the same level of flavor and tenderness that I've experienced at other Japanese restaurants. However, I'm sure that other dishes on the menu are likely to be much better.The atmosphere at NikoNiko Japanese Table is warm and welcoming, and the service is friendly and attentive. The restaurant has a cozy feel, and it's a great spot for a casual lunch or dinner with friends.Overall, I'd recommend giving NikoNiko Japanese Table a try, especially if you're looking for a good lunch special. While the chicken katsu may not have been the best, I'm confident that there are other dishes on the menu that are sure to be delicious. The friendly service and cozy atmosphere make for a great dining experience overall.

Just I don’t understand why the veg yakisoba have avo, I thought is with more cabbage, but it’s avo…. So really ＊facepalm＊But another food was tasty

Wow!When 7 people can dine in an establishment and be served with production line precision, I'm genuinely impressed. This was the first time in a VERY long time, of dining in many different places, that drinks arrived together, then entrees arrived together, then mains arrived together. It was kitchen perfection.As for the food, it was just as impressive. We ordered a bunch of different things - bao buns, gyoza, spring rolls, deep fried oysters, various rice bowls (katsu, teriyaki salmon, sweet & spicy chicken), nigiri, fried noodles and more, all of which were super fresh, steaming hot (except nigiri, of course) and immensely tasty.Service was also fantastic, with two separate waitresses providing friendly and regular assistance.The venue itself is small yet inviting and we did not feel crowded by the other diners there.Another huge positive was the inexpensive prices. For a party of 7 to fill their bellies on several courses and enjoy a drink as well, all for a mere $200, was impressive.NIKONIKO deserves their vast number of 5 star reviews and I am happy to give them one more. Everything about this business is spot-on.
