New court surfaces and surrounding fencing will be an asset to the club.

I must confess that I don't play tennis anymore but there is something charming about neighbourhood tennis clubs and your local tennis courts on their own if no club rooms have been built. They seem to make Adelaide just that little bit more pleasant. The Warradale Park Tennis Club has an added bonus as it's boundry joins onto a beautiful park and one of the things that help make this area beautiful are the large gum trees that are on the northern and southern sides of the park almost like a fence. The trees give plenty of shade and you would enjoy having lunch there on a hot day. The club and park are barely 400 metres from Westfield Marion so at this time of the year when it's so busy at Westfield you could really enjoy a visit to the park and relax in the shade while watching a bit of tennis as well. Top spot for those very hot days to escape heat and stress of driving or shopping in those conditions. I don't think that very many orpeople out of the thousands that visit and shop at Westfield know that the Tennis Club and Park exist or how close it is. Might have to keep quiet about this one or you could end up looking for shade here like you look for a car park in Westfield. If no one leaves then there's no vacant spot to sit or park.

I have taken my 2 Mini Schnauzers around the Tennis Club's area for walks a few weeks ago & the fence needs reparing or replaced because it has been there for over 50 years and the rust will distroy the fence. They can get funding from the State Government to get the large fence replaced. The grounds needs attending because there is alot of garbage around the fenceline. Teach your students to pick up the rubbish after the game. They should have a rubbish pick up day,so that the area looks alot better for users of the Tennis Club.

I've been coming out here for fast 4 on Thursdays for about a month now and its great. The people are really friendly, the courts are great and you are sure to have a great time no matter what playing level you are.
