Best coffee in this suburb. I work nearby so I’ve tried a few cafes in this street, and Ned’s definitely makes the best long black. Also their lemon meringue tart is amazing.

The best Ned’s in Melbourne! The food is delicious and the service is perfect! The cheese soufflé is amazing! Beautiful cafe in a beautiful place. The coffee is great, too.

My husband and I recently came for lunch on a Sunday The service was very averageWe had to ask a few times for more water and waited half an hour to get our food when the cafe was barely half full. To pay $20 for a bowl of muesli (which my husband only ate half as it was very ordinary was very expensive Not going back

We were seated at a table that wasn't cleaned from people before us. About 10 mins later, a waiter came up asking if we were ready to order. Ok, let's get the table cleaned first, and then maybe give us the menu. The calamari and chips were not cooked properly, the salmon sandwich was mediocre, and the coffee was very milky. We definitely won't be coming back.

Customer service non existent. Got a takeaway sandwich toasted - when it was done the staff member packaged it up and left it behind the counter and continued to take orders from other customers. All other staff ignored me when I tried to ask for the sandwich sitting behind the counter.Expensive for the service and quality.More money needs to be invested into adequate staffing levels and training.Other customers were having issues at the same time so it felt like shambles.Bread club would never

The standards here are very low all around. Customer service couldn’t be worse. Our waiter may as well have been on crack. The tuna toastie was one of the most feral things I’ve eaten in my life.. it tasted like the cheapest tuna had been sitting out, and the slices of tomato included the stem. The booth seats had food crumbs everywhere and there was packaging and sugar sachets on the floor. Also I like loud pumping music which doesn’t fit with the environment, that’s one of my favourite things.

Only tried it once so far but pastry was good and bread okay, although a bit pricey. Staff was not too attentive or welcoming unfortunately.
