Heritage Resort Shark Bay

4 stars because it wasn't expensive. The room was nice, clean and comfortable but it was separated from another room by a joining locked door through which we could hear our neighbors conversation clearly. This situation was really uncomfortable.The team seemed to have too much to do. A lack of personal? Just a bad day?

We had dinner at the bistro The first night it was ok. The second night it was terrible. We did not eat and when we told the girl that the food was not good she looked at us as we were crazy . My salad was dead and wilted. Squid fried not grilled. My partner bangs and mash was cold and pathetic. The manager did not come out to talk to us to offer some apology o offer a free cake o anythingShe did not care.We did not eat and paid $60No customer service.Leave your money and go is their mottoSpend your money somewhere else

Came to the bistro for lunch (hubbys Birthday ) ordered seafood platter for 2.Presentation was poor looked like it had just been dumped onto a platter of wilted lettuce,salad was 2 pieces of Tomato on the end with only 3 scallops 2 half frozen oysters and 8 very dry mussels fish over cooked squid very salty and like rubber. Prawns were nice.$70 very disappointedI have heard it since been sold hope they also change lunch chef

The rooms were very basic, a bit dated but were clean.The restaurant was the let down. We had called and booked a table but when we got there, it was taken by someone else and staff made no attempt to find us another table. The tables weren’t wiped clean either. Food was okay, not what would be expected from a ‘resort’.Overall - would say it’s an okay place to stay but eat elsewhere.

My husband and I only dined here and was a very average experience. To list yourself as a “Resort” is a joke. From the very start there were little problems. Not BYO even though most WA restaurants offer this. Food average, bones in fish, only 2 veg with lamb shank and meat not that soft. Went to order a bottle of wine, what we wanted was the only wine not available.Most desserts listed on the board were not available…why even have them up there in the first place !!! Then we sat finishing our wine with used plates in front of us for way too long, while staff went past several times completely oblivious. One positive thing was that the food came out quite quick. Wouldn’t recommend this place.

terrible service rude staff, $44 for a poorly cooked steak that didn't come with what was stated on the menu. usually when you order something you expect it to come out as it has been stated on the menu.

One of the worse resort ( I don't even categorise as the reaort) I ever stayed. I would said 2 Star Motel. There are nothing like photos at all. Our room should have patio/balcony on their discription, however when we open our sliding door, there are public car park and cars were parking less than meter away from our chair/table that they called Patio. Our view was just dirt car park with no shade at all. No Privacy at all unless you never open your curtain. I went to the reception and complaint and asked to change our room, but the lady from receotion said that we called Patio, so if we wish to change room with proper Patio/Balcony, we have to pay another extra per night. the room was super dark, old carpet as we couldn't open any curtain to have any privacy.... I don't recommend anyone to book this place if you are expecting to stay the resort for your nice holiday having nice drkins at the balcony or patio. Please don't believe any photos they posted. We will be very dissapointed like us. Plus staff are not even friendly or helpful at all

This is the best resort in Denham Shark bay. Beautiful ocean view spacious clean rooms with balcony. Highly recommend. Centre of the heritage area. You do need a car. 28 ks from Monkey Mia. Peter R.

As someone who has travelled to Denham for work and stayed at the resort for more than 4 years on a quality basis, tonight’s display by staff towards a family with young kids has tainted my experience and I will no longer be staying or eating at this establishment again.This was not a work related trip for me as I was also with my family. Seeing the bar staff runout to tell a mother to control her young children who were only having fun and having the poor lady cancel the rest of her meal orders to leave was a disgusting display of hospitality and not a place I want to support into the future…There are better child friendly places in Denham.
