Lux Hair Altona

Today I had my first revist to Lux salon since I moved out of the area 1.5 year ago.The stores new position in Pier St, Altona is fantastic and has added natural light and fresh air to their space.I was booked in with Hass and cannot recommend him enough, he is the Hair Dresser you have been looking for!Hass has an in-depth knowledge of colouring and correction, he is also very attentive to detail and genuinely wants to support you to reach your hair goals.Hass gave my hair some much needed TLC and I'm really pleased with the outcome.Ive never been the type to rebook my next visit on the day but today Ive locked in my next appointment for 6 weeks time and feel stoked that I have located this great salon and stylist.Thanks so much team Lux for the great experience.

Had an appointment with senior stylist Hass today to get balayage transformation and can say I’ve never walked out of a salon feeling so satisfied with the result.He was fantastic. He assessed my hair and what I wanted to achieve and gave me a price before we got started. Totally upfront which makes a huge difference. His work on my hair was superb. Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hass is the most amazing colourist and expert hairdresser. He has incredible knowledge and saved my hair from damage & problems from dodgy colours done elsewhere prior to finding him at Lux hair. Highly recommend!!

I ordered products almost 2 weeks ago from here. They took my money, but I still have not received the products. They don’t return calls, texts or emails. I don’t even believe they had the products in stock ( they won’t tell you this on your website) Not recommended to buy products online from here. Disgusting customer service- never again!

I visited this salon on Wednesday for the first time and left very underwhelmed. My hair had been butchered. It was the worst hair cut I had ever had. It was uneven and hacked. I went back today and saw another hairdresser who tried to blend and fix what her colleague had butchered. She said I would receive a complimentary shampoo and blow wave today like I should be eternally grateful. I think I should have been offered a refund. When I repeatedly expressed my absolute horror at what I was looking at, she said I’d just have to wait until it grew!!!! Well that’s great, but now I have to walk around looking like I do for months. I am absolutely devastated.Cannot believe the audacity of this salon to charge exorbitant prices whilst performing sub standard services.I will never return hereWOW!! I have just seen the response from the owner!!!! Not a lot of truth in that response. Yes I had a “ free” wash and blow wave after my tidy up and attempt at fixing my botched haircut! No I was never offered another free service. No I was not offered a refund BUT I was offered money of $100 to remove my post and then increased the offer to $140 to remove my post. I call that a bribe. I have copies of these texts but cannot add photo at this stage. He rang me on Saturday night and apologised for my cut and said he was embarrassed and wouldn’t be able to sleep at night and said the hairdresser may have been on drugs!!!This whole experience has been an absolute nightmare. Customer device at its absolute worst!!!!And now my daughter in laws review that had pics of my disgusting hair cut and pics of the text messages where I was offered money to remove my review had been deleted.If you can’t handle the truth via review, you shouldn’t be in business

After hearing great reviews by family and friends, I visited Lux hair to see Luke for a curly haircut. He made me feel comfortable, guided me through the whole process. Thanks Luke see you again.

Booked in with Hass for a bleach session not knowing what to expect however was incredibly pleased with the result, I went in with brown came out with a level 9 blonde which is exactly what I wanted. Hass was very friendly and helpful in his advice and I felt very comfortable in the salon. Will be coming back!

Having had major issues with my abnormally thick hair with other hairdressers was pleasantly surprised at how amazing Searn was. Brilliant at what she does and made me feel comfortable. The rest of the team were very friendly. Excellent value for money. Thank you!
