Order two products. The first lens arrived, well packed and in perfect condition. I was happy with timeframe of delivery and the ordering process.The second order was referring to a price match. I was not able to get the price match I wanted, but the team offered a competitive offer reducing the price and also added a UV Filter to it. I was very happy with it as it was still a big discount given.The invoice and purchase was done late-yesterday and to my surprised it has arrived today!Kudos to Han (Orders team), for being attentive to my order and providing exceptional service and response. Georges Cam has great people with not condescending attitude and very open minded to product discussions. So much better than some" other camera stores.Will order again from them in future."

The customer service is amazing. Requested a price match for a lens and the staff got back to me in no time. I placed the order and the lens was delivered in just over a day. Definitely buying my next lens from George’s

I initially made a purchase on the website in January for an item that was showing available. 2 weeks later the product had not been sent and I made enquiries and was told the product was actually in back order. I emailed and communicated my wish to cancel the product in February and in April notices my refund had not been processed. I made further inquiries in April and was told they had to investigate. I received no response so in June followed up again where I was once again told the issue required further investigation. 6 months later I am still trying to seek a refund.

Anything you end up purchasing on their website most likely won’t be in stock regardless of what is being stated on the product. It almost always ends up being with the supplier or some sort of back order.Literally will never purchase anything from them, worst experience.I genuinely don’t like leaving negative reviews but this is really a friendly tip for potential buyers. Don’t waste your time and money.

Generally speaking, my experiences with George's Cameras in Sydney have been overwhelmingly positive. I prefer to purchase the more important equipment directly from the store itself and have had lesser accessories delivered to my home without a problem. The staff are helpful and it's worth noting that I've worked in Camera Retail for a few years myself so I know the issues these staff tend to deal with. I've bought quite a few pieces of gear from them in recent years and appreciate their assistance. Their pricing is attractive and competitive.But this is a busy store so if there's a few customers before you, there may be a delay in being served. They also deal with a lot of overseas tourists which can prove challenging. In the last few years we have seen some manufacturers fall behind with their product-supply and not all customers will understand the delays if a product isn't in stock at the time that they want it. I did have a singular negative experience - which was later resolved to my satisfaction. I'd prefer this review to read 4.7 Stars as a result but will average this out to a full 5 Stars - because I've appreciated their customer service and assistance.*These are my own images depicting products I have bought from this specific store. I recently purchased a Lowepro Pro Trekker 550AW Back Pack...The problem was, I needed it within the week, as I was off to Tanzania on the following Monday. It arrived in Darwin by Express Post, 3 days after it was dispatched...'Fantastic service!' I can now head off with my Nikon Z600mm f/4S TC 1.4, 2 x Z9 bodies, 70-200mm f/2.8, Z24-70mm f/2.8, 2 x teleconverters, heaps of memory cards and other gear, as well as my Z400mm f.2.8 TC 1.4 in another bag! Thanks heaps Georges.

Great experience and competitive prices offered at George’s. Ordered an XT-30 II and 27mm pancake lens online, took about three weeks to arrive. Staff were transparent with the situation when I called them. Would’ve been preferable if I initially had received some indication of lead time through email though.

Great service and at the best possible price. Advice that is actually priceless! Stock availability far beyond other competitors. This is the camera store that actually has photographers on staff.
