Riverside Park
Like most places at Inverell it is well kept, tidy and safe. Being situated on the bank of the McIntyre river the Outlook is both aesthetically pleasing and withe ample shade trees a pleasant retreat from the summer sun. The walking track and gym make this ideally suited for the more active members of the public, with a feature rich and fenced child's playground for the Mums and Dads. With the opportunity to wet a line and pull in eel tail catfish and perch fr9m the bank of the river. The bodies basic necessities are catered for with a modern amenities building located close to the southern end of the park. TLDR: Great for the whole family

Highly relaxing and enjoyable park and cycle walkway running along the edge of the MacIntyre River. Has a an excellent Children's Play Area and Exercise Machine Area.Take a book and sit under the tree shaded picnic tables. My favorite place is the table closest to the Weir and the rapids...nothing more relaxing for me than listening to the flowing water and speed reading some non fiction. An exercise walk with my dog Courage. This area of the river brings back a lot of childhood memories as it was the area where my brothers and I played and fished, canoed and rafted down the river.

Plenty of room to park your larger vehicles like caravans and motor homes. Toilets, tables, bins. Walking distance to Coles big W woolies and main street.

The council staff work to keep park as clean and tidy as they can. Shaded eating areas, toilets, parking, dog friendly, 2 kids park areas with another a short walk under the main bridge and then onto dog off leash park and skate and basketball areas

We always have a good time there whether the markets are on or not. It is a great place to use exercise equipment and walk or run. It is lit at night so day or night it is safe.

Great little Park and play area for smaller kids. Nice rivet bank where you can bring some bread and feed the ducks. Toilet facilities and and parking. Exercise equipment available for the health conscious.
