Had dinner here on a Sunday evening for a birthday celebration.Was quickly seated in a booth area whilst we were awaiting two others to join our table.Whilst we ordered drinks from the bar, a waitress came to the table and asked if we would like table water. We kindly accepted. However, when she returned, she only came back with two glasses and not five for the correct number of guests we had seated.Meals varied from the children's range, to the smash Burger and the Monday special Reef and Beef.All meals were served fairly quickly and not one person had a complaint in regards to their food.For two adults meals, a kids meal, and three drinks, was priced at $122.00. So fairly competitive for the area with regards to the quality of food.It was a lovely hidden gem, and we will likely return again in the near future.

Vegetables are frozen vegetablesMeat is fineBut don't ever think your meal is offered with love it's pure profitsSeafood is frozen tooSalmon is generally over cooked and crisp skin is rareVery much a hit and miss food propriety offering....but the Menu always looks great right?Please remember this is Ipswich food....and nothing to do with great foodI generally travel 40 minutes into the depths of north side where attention is key to selling food

This place was a great surprise. Walked here not expecting much but the atmosphere was good and the food surprisingly good. Pub fare but great taste and ready in no time, really couldn’t complain about it. Also good service.

We were a group of 3 who turned up unexpectedly as we are new to the area and was literally in the car looking for somewhere to eat. During our travels we stumbled upon Char’d Steakhouse and thought let’s give it a go if possible.Shortly after arriving we were approached by the friendly restaurant manager who asked if we had a booking which we didn’t. We could see how busy the restaurant was however the manager made every effort to accommodate us as newbies. After finding a placement at a booth, the manager explained how it all worked and advised wait staff will be over shortly to ensure our orders. We felt welcomed and comfortable. Food took a little while to reach our table from time of order though we could see they were busy and understaffed due to Covid etc. We commend the manager and his staff on their service overall. Great place, lively food, comfortable seating & a nice atmosphere. Thanks for having us. Highly recommend.

The order didn't go through for 50 minutes as my father had jokingly said to the staff wouldn't it be funny if my order was forgotten and it was, also we asked for the manager atleast 3 times but he hadn't come each time, when the food finally got here my mother's steak was over cooked to well done even though she asked for medium rare the chef continued to argue it was below medium rare and was rare, also even when the manager wasn't busy he just stood there talking to his staff and hadn't assisted us yet this night was meant to be my sister birthday dinner but it was ruined pretty badly from this experience. The owner did come he has offered drinks and dessert on the house as well as our refund the steak that came the second time was rare so the owner itself came and cooked it properly though that is all that happens tonight

Huge place, different settings, lots of activities. Love it!!! However, food sometimes is horrible (see attached). Also, the serviettes they put under food always ends up getting stuck in the food, potential health hazard if you ask me, i mean how much of the chemicals used to manufacture those serviettes seep into food people have been consuming?

The PA (where Char'd is located) has become a favourite of ours. It's our go-to weekend lunch spot to catch up with family members. Nice atmosphere and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. There's something for everyone, especially on the all-day Long Lunch menu, where you'll get a delicious, filling meal (like the silverside pictured) and a drink for under $20. Bargain! Regular menu items are also very well-priced and servings are always huge. We leave happy every time.

Had a birthday dinner here tonight, manager in restaurant was so friendly and fun! His customer service skills certainly went above the standard and the whole table was thrilled by his engagement.
