Dive Jervis Bay

I was about to book 2 dives when I realized that the price is not just 175$ for a general boat trip, including dives. As a traveler without my own gear, I ended up with 283$ for that trip. Could have been a nice experience, but for that price, I save my money for the great barrier reef.

The general boat dive with Dive Jervis Bay on 11/2/23 was great. We went to 2 locations, each had its own appeal. Met Greg the blue groper, just like a puppy following the divers around. The crew and dive master, Ellie, were very helpful. I was seasick and they did all they could to help me with my gear getting back on the boat. Would definitely recommend this dive trip.

Booked a double dive with these guys while visiting Jervis Bay in Jan. Very friendly crew, squeezed me in for a night dive and then rang me to say spots had opened on the advanced boat. Could not fault their communication. Excellent and knowledgeable DM (Elli) made both dives thoroughly enjoyable. Dived the nursery and the wall, both beautiful with plenty of grey nurse sharks and some baby sharks too. Boat captain Alan knowledgeable and friendly. Worked great as a single diver as several others were also booked as a one. Highly recommend, would dive again with these guys anytime.

Very friendly and helping staff! The boat crew was making sure that the safety is first, the dive boat is very nice and well organized, the dive guid Ryley super friendly! Thanks a lot! I am giving 4 out of 5 stars cause the second dibe barely took 30 min… i surfaced with 150 bar. It was a long journey from sydney and back so, I could have spent another 30 min watching tens of port jacksons and wobbegongs cuddling each other ;)

Despite the poor morning weather we had a great time! The crew (DM and Skipper) made it fun and informative, they obviously love what they do. Their dog Max was also very cute and fun. Lovely staff, and once you’re in the water the weather above doesn’t matter. Visibility was decent, and we saw some cool marine life - including a very curious and friendly blue groper who seemed to want to play with us. Adventurous and exciting times we’re had - we’ll be back again!!

We drove all the way from Melbourne. Arrived 15min before the trip to find out that one engine of the boat was not working and our trip was going to be cancelled.We asked if they can put us on the boat on the next day and they said no. So we put all the 18 hours drive to the bin.

I was incredibly disappointed with the diving school's last-minute cancellation of my dive, especially after driving all the way from Melbourne to Jervis Bay. The lack of professionalism and respect for customers was evident, as they failed to inform me in advance and left me stranded. They never provided any options to do a different dive. This experience has made me question their reliability and commitment to customer satisfaction.

We had an amazing experience snorkelling with Jeff and the team last weekend. We still can’t believe the short but incredible moment when 4 whales (2 males, 1 female and 1 calf) came close to investigate us. The rest of the morning, swimming with a few seals, rays and many schools of fishes, was also memorable.

We had a great time diving with these guys. Very professional and organised. Ryley your dive master was amazing. We saw plenty of grey nurse sharks, wobbegong sharks, crested hornsharks … gorgeous! Highly recommended!

I booked a whale dive tour for my friends and I, we drove all the way from Melbourne covering all cost with the only goal of doing this dive. 15 MIN before the meeting time !!! WE GOT CANCEL! we were at arrive at the shop dive and were told that due to an engine issue our trip was cancel. The local team did not show any empathy with us or the fact we drove from so long, never took a pro active approach, simply “trip is canceled” . And it gets WORST as I find out that now I have to WAIT for My Money as the refund, I was told, can take up to 2 weeks! The lack of understanding and ownership of this dive school is extremely disappointing. Need to adjust their equipment, staff, leadership and more.
