Tintagel Horse Agistment

Tintagel is one of the best horse agistments out there, amazing facilities and very clean lovely paddocks, and wonderful people! I have not been there for long but I already love it.

I've been riding at Tintagel for about two years. it is one of the best places to have your horses and to learn to ride. the people are so kind and make you feel like home. I really recommend coming here. the kind owner will try and help and support you in any way possible. it's an amazing place

We feel blessed to have found Tintagel when we first bought our horse. Laura has been invaluable in helping us understand our difficult and cranky horse, given good advice and plenty of her her personal time when we have need her. The other agisters have become good friends over the past year and are all helpful and caring. Graeme allows people to always feel welcome on his property allowing us access to the river in summer, bonfires in winter and makes it a great place to just hang out.

We have been agisting my 12 yo daughter’s horse for the past 8 months at Tintagel. We have made friends with some wonderful people there . Everyone is friendly and the kids all get along well. Graeme is a caring owner who has helped us and our horse settle in well . Laura is great and lives on site . She provides lessons, advice, feeds , rugs and anything to do with horses and riders . I highly recommend it.

this place was near the nudist part of the yarra at the end of Bourchiers road. It was pretty wild hearing the horses naying while high on mushies lol. one of the girls we brought down kept trying to swim to the horses sounds.

Beautiful horse agistment property with a friendly and welcoming community.Horse care services are carried out by a group of competent young women who are overseen by a qualified riding instructor who lives on site.With two arenas, a round yard and plenty of laneways to trail ride there's plenty of room for riding.You will not find a better agistment property for the same price in the local area.

I've been doing lessons with Laura and keeping my horse at Tintagel agistment for nearly a year now. The kindness and support i've received from everyone at Tintagel has helped me so much through my riding journey! The environment is perfect for horses and you know they'll be nothing but loved while your not around. Couldn't recommend Tintagel highly enough.

The owner of this agistment has no idea what he is doing, there is no grass because all paddocks are kept full as much as possible and not rotated. The last manager was amazing and deeply cared for the animals but unfortunately with her departure there will be no services and no supervision for the horses. 0:10 would never let my horse stay there.EDIT: I was never asked to leave the agistment, I left when the old manager did for the safety of my horse. While I was there though I was asked by the owner to assist in the care of his old mare who was basically neglected by him. Can imagine it has become a very ‘cliquey’ place now with the new manager. Yuck

One is the former manager who left in poor circumstances due to non performance and questions about unpaid fees and other management issuesThe other is from one of her friendsThe property has been cleaned up from the mess left by former managerAll paddocks have been recently weeded treated and cleanedThe new staff are caring people who only want what's best for the stockI support the owner in a voluntary basis to improve the business aspects of the property so am very concerned about untrustworthy people's postYou really need to see for yourselfThe owner is continuing to upgrade facilities and the staff want to make Agistment here a very pleasant experience for horses and owners
