The Yoga Centre East Redfern - An Iyengar Institute
This yoga centre is great. Love the space and the location. The teachers really cater for the individual. Being 60, I'm someone with constant wear and tear injury (back issues for 2 years & shoulder reconstruction in February) and I'm always given options to suit my level of pain on any given day. The attention to detail with the poses ensures that I'm doing them properly. The teachers are kind but challenge us to go further in our practice. The mixture of age groups keeps me on my toes. Doing yoga at this centre is a very positive experience indeed!

The studio is lovely and obviously encouraged for the Iyengar practice. Peta and Helen have been my teachers. So happy to had them, they both help me as I got a back pain, theyu have always shown interested on it.Come and join them the environment is great!

The calm and spaciousness of the studio is only a hint of the spaciousness awaiting when you take the mat. Teachers have decades of experience and true dedication, and gently see every student to encourage them along at their pace.

I highly recommend the classes and workshops run at the Yoga Centre East Redfern. The teachers are very experienced, are great with injuries and students are given individual attention - this is not a one-size-fits-all approach. The studio is spacious and really well-equipped.

A caring professional studio with excellent teachers. I've tried a lot of other yoga studio's but I recommend this one. The teachers really understand the human body; physically, emotionally and spiritually and this shows in their teaching.
