Such a lovely place. Glorious gardens and outlook. Enjoyed my weekend very much. Hosts were great. Can definitely recommend.

A very beautiful place owned by two lovely people. Really loved the scenic views and Virginia was very nice and helpful and answered all our questions.The apartment had everything we needed. Loved the fireplace in the cold winter nights and it heated up the whole aprtment! highly enjoyed the breakfast mostly homemade by Virginia. We all had a wonderful relax time and will definitely go back another time. Thanks Virginia and Pete!”

We have stayed in many bed & breakfasts but not returned. Our two stays at the Chocolate Lily will certainly not be the last. Our hosts make us and our family welcome and the home made bread, jams and other delights are an added tasty bonus. The view is stupendous and Milo is adorable. Look forward to our next visit.

We had an amazing time at The Chocolate Lily b&b. Virginia and Peter were great hosts and very welcoming! The house was very comfortable, clean and well stocked! We enjoyed the fresh produce straight from the orchard and our children had a wonderful time with Milo, the friendly dog onsite. We loved swimming in the warm, clean pool and relaxing outside in the pure country air, surrounded by a beautiful view! A great place to holiday! Just like any 5 star accommodation!Thank you Virginia and Peter!

Love this place. Have been there a couple of times and very interested in visiting again. It is very comfortable and one of the best we have stayed in. The breakfast is delicious and the hosts are very welcoming. It is also a perfect location for exploring Bendigo and surrounds.

The Chocolate Lily Bed & Breakfast
We greatly enjoyed a relaxing stay at the Chocolate Lily. Our hosts Virginia and Peter were excellent. Not only did they provide a very fantastic homemade breakfast, but also provided great suggestions for family friendly dining options in the area. After their recommendations we visited both the Redesdale Hotel (in Redesdale) and the Bridge Hotel (in Castlemaine). Both were excellent and about 20-25 minutes drive from the Chocolate Lily. Also excellent is the Mill in Castlemaine with its brewery, cafe, ice creamery, arts and more. Bendigo is great for a visit (or for grocery shopping) and also about 25 minutes away.

A beautiful place to spend some time relaxing, comfortable beds, great pool, spa & showers. Lovely and accommodating hosts and a very special dog. Awesome breakfast included as well. Will stay again, only 20 min from Bendigo.

We were so lucky to have a few nights at Chocolate Lily. Such serene, beautiful surroundings. Excellent hosts who make the experience such a delight. I can't recommend this enough. Treat yourself and book in!
