A scenic spot to stop on the way’ not much here but worth a stop ‘ easy parking toilets and somewhere to have lunch’ there are train tracks right though the middle of the park must be from days gone by.

Beautiful beach close to town. Free parking, toilet facilities and also a public BBQ. It is close to the town’s caravan park, so popular with tourists.

Very safe swimming area for families with kids, wide beach area. Short walk to toilets..Great views of Portland harbour and the shipping docks.Always nice to watch the huge bulk carrier ships and the Cruise liners when in town coming and going.

Probably one of the nicest beaches in the area from my many visits. It’s always nice for a walk of the water is to cool or a swim on a hot day. There isn’t amenities close by and parking is limited during very hot days.

Nice view and good for fishing other than that not good for spending time, bad smell of sea weed.Not recommended for swimming. Chances of getting large fish is very high.Enough car park and shower area

Nice little beach with beautiful views of the rocky cliffs & big ships in the background. Kids loved it!
