Alison, Barry Plant Chelsea, is our property manager. We are very confident with Alison managing our properties; she is a great communicator, clearly has a lot of experience and job knowledge and we value her suggestions and recommendations to ensure good outcomes for us and our tenants.

Amazing real estate, the people are incredibly friendly and easy to deal with. Property manager Alison Jacobsen is one of a kind and looked after us from day 1, I was a tenant for the past 6 years and never had issues with requiring maintenance or repairs or anything. Do yourself a favour and rent or buy with these guys!!

Rebecca is an exceptional real estate agent and is a pleasure to deal with and will certainly be recommending this agent abroad. We have been tenants with Barry Plant for many years and have always had amazing property managers. We highly recommend them, whenever there is a repair that needs fixing it is dealt with the utmost respect and rectified quickly. Barry Plant Mentone was extremely unprofessional.In the heat of people being desperate to find rental properties - I inspected and applied for a property on the 22/4. During that following week further open times were advertised and also a rent reduction of $15 per week. I followed up and spoke to property manager, she told me not to worry and she was looking at applications today (27/4) and I would hear back that afternoon or tomorrow morning. Of course I did not hear back to after numerous phone calls got onto somebody in the office who looked up my application and told me it was declined. I asked why and she said she had no idea but was declined by the landlord and they don’t know why. I asked her to put me in touch with somebody who could give me feedback from a property manager point of view , she did, this lady looked it up and said it was a mistake and my application looked good, she said she would look into it and to give her until the end of the day and she would call me back (28/4), she never did.After making my last follow up call and having no luck on 1/5 I gave up on this property due to lack of communication of any help whatsoever.On the 8/5 the property manager had the audacity to call me and ask if I was still interested in this property. I laughed and recalled all of what just happened. In this time there was numerous open inspections, a price reduction (when I had applied under original price advertised). And obviously they were still desperate to fill the property. She explained she was only just going through applications now. There was so many people at this first open so I can’t imagine how many were in my position.Of course I found somewhere in this time and have happily moved in, Thanks O’Brian Real Estate Mentone. I wonder if these landlords know how their investment is being wastedNo help at all with any of the staff at Barry Plant Mentone

As a tenant of Barry Plant Chelsea for over 3 years, I am so impressed with (property manager) Helen’s professionalism and service. Her communication skills are excellent and she is always so prompt in answering any queries and actioning anything that requires attention. Where do I start.. Alison has been such an amazing property manager. The relationship we formed with her over the last 6 years is something I will always treasure. To helping me with my newborn at routine inspections, to always asking how we are doing and if we ever needed anything.
