Such a lovely place to eat! We loved all the food here and the service was amazing, some of the best Vietnamese in Australia!The ingredients were so fresh and tasty and their wine selection was fantastic. Will definitely be back!

One of the best surprises I've had in a very long time. I came here expecting a mediocre, suburban restaurant but Mr T is so much more.It is admittedly expensive, but offers fine-dining quality dishes at a fraction of the price. The food draws on a range of asian cuisines and fuses them in such a way that the flavours swirl around your mouth long after you've finished eating.I can't wait to come back!

Modern Asian flavours executed really well. The crispy Vietnamese pancake was the stand out highlight, but all the food was great. Check out the specials as they have some great gems there. Service was attentive and helpful. Seating is a little squishy, but that shouldn’t be a deterrent.

Wow. East Sydney must be more of a cultural wasteland than I first thought. That this place scores 4.7 really says a lot about a suburb. What I'll remember most about the unduly expensive meal here was how oily and bland it was. Oh, and how i found one tiny piece of chicken in my San Choy Bao.I'm struggling to remember a worse Vietnamese restaurant I've been to at any price point.. nope, I can't. Every dish was bad.Would have loved some fresh flavours, but everything was deep fried even the special 'fresh fish'. (Overcooked).Never had lemongrass chicken arrive in a soup broth before. That's one dish I expected to be grilled.If you loved this place, you need to get out more.

Tuesday night. 730 arrival. We didn't have a booking. Very accommodating for 2 people to sit outside. Lovely service.Asked about water and drinks.We ordered salt and pepper Tofu, duck pancakes and pork belly kimchi buns. Tapioca pudding for dessert. Enough for 2 people for a snack/ light dinnerAsked the server for advice on the third dish and they gave good suggestions taking into consideration what we had already ordered and if we wanted something light or heavy.We also ordered a glass of wine each.Food was delivered to the table all together as ordered and presented beautifully.Food was fresh and flavourful. Smaller portions but worth the price. The duck pancakes were a little deconstructed for my liking but tasty still.Gave good explanantion of meals and checked in on our needs.. I very much enjoyed this.We were not rushed and were the last to leave. Highly recommend for a casual meal.

Delicious food and kids lived it too. Melt in your mouth slow cooked beef. Light and tasty spring rolls. Lovely atmosphere with very friendly staff. Highly recommend.

came to Mr T's for a dinner while holidaying from Perth and was one of the best meals of all time!absolutely delicious and had delicious entrees and mains, with beautiful service..kept offering new drinks and clearing away other dishes, and being so gorgeous and friendly.great experience, highly recommend!
