One of the best lookout points to view a waterfall without walking too much for the glimpse. Enough parking available onsite and you need to pay $4 for your car parking via the kiosks placed there. A highly recommended place to visit.

The Illawarra Rd was closed to Wollongong traffic for quite sometime because of the bad flooding in the area a few months back. It is now open so I took my friends from Thailand to visit the Fitzroy Falls. The weather wasn't great but it so beautiful. The walk from the carpark is easy to the first lookout and is suitable for wheelchairs, however, the view of the falls is not great here. With a bit of effort and if the track is not so wet you could take a wheel chair to the second viewing area for a much better view of the falls. The parking cost $4 all day and there are many walking tracks. The souvenir centre is open with EFTPOS however, the restaurant is closed. There area has picnic table if you want to bring your own food. If you have overseas visitors it is worth a day out.

Lovely little gateway to some beautiful bushwalks. The rangers here are so patient and helpful, much appreciated. The recommendation of West Rim walking track was spot on. The centre also has some beautiful souvenirs for sale, as well as some informative displays about the local ecosystem and wildlife.

Well worth it even just for a quick stop. They have done a great job to make it easily accessible for all abilities. Make the extra effort to walk (an easily thong-able 500m) to the 2nd look out for front on views of the falls.

Plenty of paid parking sites available with a gift shop toilets and rangers on duty to answer your questions. The short walk to the main viewing area is suitable for all to enjoy.Additional walks extend beyond the raised platform to different locations to enjoy the amazing scenery from.

So very special and felt 100% safe on the strong & solid mesh viewing platform.Interesting dioramas in the visitor centre: worth a look through. An adjacent open space with gazebo and picnic tables were handy and was where a parrot visited with us for our snack stop. With all the recent rains, the Falls were cascading beautifully.

Luckily there was heavy rainfall before arriving at the Fitzroy Falls so the water fall was in top form. Very nice indeed.Great souvenirs at the Visitor CentreI am posting some of my photos from both a private home and main waratah display adjacent to the tourist Robertson Railway Station.
