Was looking forward to going. Some things were brilliant some were terrible.Service was great(Cody), wine was good, wine glasses were not.We had alot of food 4 of us. The prawns were amazing, along with the roo but the eggplant was terrible. It was like it wasn't even cooked.Overall it was ok, wouldn't rush back$550 for 4 people, 2 bottles of wine and 1 starter drink

Loved the food, wine and the service which was casual yet professional which is usually hard to find. Well done Bangalow and The Northern Rivers for such a great wine bar and a show case for local produce which combined is a recipe for a fabulous experience.

I’m 8 months pregnant and my partner and I wanted to have a nice dinner so went there during the day to book a table for later. We arrived at 7pm as per our reservation and it started. No tables available expected for the ones outside (we booked inside because of the cold). After a while a lady managed to find as a high table that we weren’t super happy to take because it’s a bit more uncomfortable giving that I’m 8 months pregnant. But I said it was ok and if we could reallocate to a normal one when available, she kindly agreed. 2 min later a guy kicked us out of the table saying there was someone waiting for it and we could sit outside (freezing cold) or wait at the bar, buy some drinks, and see if something comes up. I wasn’t drinking at 8 months pregnant and my partner was driving. No apologies, no effort to accommodate us…We left after 15 min still in shock… Not impressed.

An absolutely divine evening. Unreal drinks, food was incredible, interesting choices and great portions. Accommodated my father's dietary requirements with no fuss at all. Plus lovely genuine staff made it a great night! Must go!

Super disappointed with the experience, overly priced wines served in cheap Italian style glassware that doesn’t evaporate flavour of the wine. All the wines are young, $20 for a glass. Ordered $48 lobster for a main and waitress told it was ok to share but they came out as bay bugs and she said they’re called lobsters. Ridiculous service, not knowledgeable stuff. Never again.

Staying in Bangalow for one night on our way north, my husband and I booked to dine at You Beauty having read and heard good reports. We were surprised and delighted at the exceptional quality of innovatively cooked and beautifully presented locally-sourced foods, organic wine selections, and casual but perfectly understated service alongside keen attention to detail. The manager made our selections easy, having noted that we eat pescetarian, non-dairy fare. We could not name a favourite plate after choosing several to share. So, the anchovy on toast with Aleppo pepper and green chili , raw swordfish with cucumber, barbecued zucchini with roast almonds and lemon, roasted beetroot with rocket, and the king oyster mushroom with asparagus and grains were all perfection! The natural rosé from the Adelaide Hills followed by wattle seed and honey liqueur on ice, and vegan cacao ice cream finished off a wonderful, delicious unforgettable meal and experience. Needless to say we will be back, and highly recommend You Beauty for food, wine, service and ambience!
