Seemed great at first, someone who really cares. However after having a so called ‘friendly’ chat about a circumstance and a barley 10 minute conversation was invoiced $220 with Ashley. She didn’t even review the court documents. (Got invoiced $330) but rang back and suggested that was extremely Unfair.I would suggest, if you guys are going to put me through to a lawyer for advice, don’t makeIt common knowledge that I will be charged.A simple - ‘this call is $350 an hour will be charged to you’In all fairness, I found someone who could do a fixed fee and she wasn’t happy about it.I’m a carpenter and to charge $1300 an hour doesn’t pass the pub test mate.

I decided to engage Carter Ferguson Kiama to act on my behalf for a property settlement. What a mistake!After meeting with Deb Russell the company's director on 9th June 2021 I was advised the matter would be dealt with in approximately 4 weeks plus court proceedings. Well, it took over 8 months in total for the matter to be finalised on 24th February 2022.During this time I had to deal with incompetent staff which I complained about early into the process to the director but things didn't improve. I continually had to chase them up as I wouldn't hear anything from them for weeks at a time.The stress had a severe affect on my mental health which was already fragile due to my breakup.
