San Churro Kotara

Doesn’t even deserve 1 star. What was supposed to be a lovely dessert on Mother’s Day was appalling. We received one drink, one persons food and then waited a further 45 minutes for nothing. After we were assured it was coming. We weren’t the only table either. After finally giving up due to having small children we asked for a refund and there wasn’t a single explanation. Maybe the blonde girl should stop leaning over the counter talking to her boyfriend which she did for the duration of the time we were there. I am a very patient person and could understand if it was busy or if the staff were explaining the issue. But to watch everyone around us dealing with the same thing was just horrible. Never again.Also only received a partial refund because they think it’s okay to have just delivered food to only one person. Blonde girl calls management who finally gives us a full refund.Although the refund doesn’t compensate for the disappointment of what was supposed to be a special Mother’s Day treat.

Luca who was our host for the day was great, the coffee's were piping hot at 80+ degree's as asked for, and the hot chocolate was perfect (it's wonderful that you're all coming and asking us how our coffee's and food was, it's the mark of professionalism in this business and so glad you asked for feedback, becuase here it is)... On this occasion there was no dirty cups or plates that we had to try and clear ourselves, the entire place was clean and in great order, well done to the team there on Wednesday 21st of June at 3.15pm, keep up the great work was a pleasure (and the new employee who was on the front counter, she was fantastic great new addition to your staff San Churro's Kotara)!

I ordered takeaway pick up yesterday evening. It was not a good experience. We ordered a churro share pack with extra sauces and churros, yet we only received 12 churros and 6 sauces instead of the 18 churros and 8 sauces. This was also after the team members saying the order didn’t exists and to provide proof.. the churros also did not have any cinnamon sugar on them, even after ordering extra…I love san churro but I just don’t think the service was very good last night.

So expensive for absolutely no reason also waited 20 minutes and they didn’t even have our full order and said our drink was ready when we never ordered one so waited for 20 more minutes. Doesn’t seem to be any adult staff, just young kids who don’t seem very confident nor know what they are doing. But it did taste good I mean how could it not it’s just covered in chocolate! Although barely warm.

Right next to the escalators. Nice and cozy spot for afternoon tea. The churros and hot chocolate are a really great combo. They also had some crazy lattes and frappes. Staff are also friendly and nice. But they have a surcharge with cards. All in all a good experience.

Very dirty tables everywhere. Coffees were almost cold and tasteless. I guess that’s the service you get when none of your staff are over 16. Whe we were served our ordinary coffees we had to actually ask could they clean the table for us and they asked would we like all of the table cleaned after wiping just the grubby part off in the photo ? Staff obviously don’t have a clue about heakth and hygiene.

There was no issue with the employees there, they were friendly and polite. However, the tea came out and the cup smelt and tasted like soap, both the teapot and the spoon were grimy. The rest of the food was mediocre at best nothing like the pictures. The whole place just felt sticky-dirty.

Ordered two hot chocolate‘s to dine in. After 30 minutes on a not so-busy Friday evening, I went up to the counter to ask about order 43. I could see the order on the screen and was told oh, they didn’t come through so they said they would start to make them now. If I could give zero stars, I would terrible experience and I won’t be coming back to this outlet. After 35 minutes we asked for a refund and left. Then we couldn’t even get a refund to the card and we’re given cash and didn’t even receive the card surcharge back.Edit: Then their reply did nothing to compensate for 40 minutes of our wasted time. Very poor customer service.

Delicious! Service was exceptional which made the experience even the better.I ATE IT ALL!

Our server was Niamn and she made sure everything was on track and we had the best experience. Also she couldn’t stop us laughing. Great customer service 100% recommend this place!!
