Newcastle Executive Apartments

Very poor experience - booked via Hotels.com. Did not realise that I would have to deal with this booking agent.Travelling with a work colleague we were booked into Honeysuckle apartments. Got a call on the day and found out that they had changed the booking and moved by colleague across town.Had to collect keys from a multi-storey carpark nowhere near property as no-onsite managers.Rang to cancel my booking and was initially told this would not be a problem and I would receive a refund - but when I finally spoke to the manager the next day he was dismissive and refused to issue a refund as promised.I travel to Newcastle for work on a monthly basis - I will never go near any apartment managed by these people again.

In extreme need of maintenance.Dirty mattresses, blocked sinks, dirty and broken washing machines, dirty kitchen items (which are limited; fully equipped kitchen it is not)...cleaners just vacuum and mop, they don't seem to check anything else.Blanket in the cupboard is covered in something that looks like milk, but it's not!!!Gave this place the benefit of the doubt and this is my second stay here. I had to swap rooms the first time due to broken and dirty items. There will NOT be a third. Staff are friendly, that is the only thing going for the place.They also provide parking at $20 a night, but trust me there are not enough spaces even though they say there are. I have seen guests having to park on the street due to the lack of spaces.Avoid if you can!!!

Would never recommend1- Lack of resources (sheets for bedding, towels in the bathroom)2- bedding sheets were filthy (clearly not washed or stained) or were damaged with holes or burn marks3- Poor customer service.

BED BUGS!!!! DO NOT STAY AT ANY OF THEIR APARTMENTS! Told to sleep in bed with the bugs, ended up on lounge. They refuse to refund night’s accommodation or even pay for the medical costs for the treatment of bed bug bites. Have video footage and lots of photos but this is not enough evidence for them.

DO NOT STAY HERE If I could give a minus 10 I would ,walked into our room late at night to find a full construction site no furniture at all, lights weren't even connected just wires hanging from the ceiling dropsheets and tools everywhere luckily Ibis on Hunter St saved us by giving me a room which wasn't easy considering it was 2:00am I will be demanding a full refund and they would want to pay me back every cent or the s*#t will hit the fan.

Zero stars!!I should have taken the warnings & negative reviews seriously and Ifound out myself....our accommodation was disgustingly DIRTY. My sister snd I were shocked at the condition of our 'executive accommodation'. Tony the manager (owner??) obviously could care less about the guests...you pay up front & goodluck with trying to get a refund. Broken chairs & building rubble on the forecourt. Dirty kitchen, cook pots & pans unusable. Dirty sink, fridge & garbage bin, soiled carpet leading upstairs. Dirty stained bathmat. Tobacco smells. The overhead airfilter grimey dust covered...all this and more during Covid19!! DONT BOOK in any of their accommodation in their complexes. Pics look good but JUST DONT BOOK.

Checked out early today as I came back to the apartment from running errands to see my door held wide open by a pair of plyers used as a door stop, and a strange man doing maintenance in my bathroom.Tony was a complete pig to deal with regarding this. Dismissing my concerns re my safety, privacy and the appalling inappropriateness of the situation. My laptop, phone, private work documents were all left on the dining table right near the open door. Along with some cash I keep for travel emergencies in the same vicinity.The apartment itself is lacking in cleanliness and shabby. I was floored though to realise that this appalling breach of my privacy and safety was met with such arrogant dismissal.I’ve used Newcastle Executive Apartments previously and found them to be unclean, shabby and not at all to the standard expected for the price. I reluctantly optioned them this time through a booking site and would warn all travellers to AVOID ALL PROPERTIES as my experience in *several* has been atrocious. Today though was an entire next level of unprofessionalism that as a sole female traveller I cannot excuse or condone.

Do not under any circumstances stay with Newcastle Executive Apartments. The apartment was putrid and insect infested. Sheets were so stained that we had to strip beds and sleep on towels. See photo.They do not answer the phone or emails.

I am very concerned that the man who claims to be the owner of the apartments has contacted my clients to get hold of me to find the keys for the apartment when the keys were on the dining table in the apartment. when confronted with this serious breach of privacy the claimed owner was dismissive and would not tell me where he had obtained my client details from

Perfect had everything I needed lovely white sheets and fluffy white towels cleaned spotless couldn't fault them at all would recommend to anyone who wants that good motel accommodation experience.
