Guitar Lessons Coogee

Right round the corner was why I chose him, but he's great :) he always adapts to my learning speed with different chord positions. I've learned more from him in a year than I learned in 3 years with the previous bloke :D

A gentle man, patient and intelligent. Our daughter lost her fear of the guitar quickly and came home playing a song after her first lesson. An excellent teacher.

He's a master of bass riffs as well as rhythm and lead guitar and when anyone's sick in his band he can just take over their role - he's great at improvising, can write a song in an afternoon and I think the only reason he teaches these days is out of a sense of enjoyment. He likes to share what he knows, and he's not like other teachers, where you only get little bits at a time for your money. He studies you and works out pretty quickly what you need and seems to have a knack at guessing where you're headed. I needed to pick up on music literacy when I started going to him, and ended up gigging with him in his band and with the Lyrikin people. I'd recommend his teaching wholeheartedly. He also lives on a spectacular part of the coastline at Coogee - so take your swimming gear along so you can nip down to the water after a lesson!
