Caffe Primavera
This place used to be amazing. Really varied and reasonably priced. I feel like since it became really popular, the prices dramatically increased and the menu less varied.It still is delicious, don't get me wrong. But if I am going to spend $20 for an entree and around 30 a main not to mention wine, coffee, dessert- then I would rather go into the city and try something more adventurous.What I want in a local, is somewhere I can go and have a brunch with friends and be able to come away with change from $50.I miss the old days at this place.

I took my wife here for her birthday dinner and it didn't dissapoint! From initial contact the staff were so friendly and accommodating and the place has a great ambience. We ordered the arancini balls for entree and these were mouth watering, we get these everytime we see them on a menu and these were the best we have had by far! My wife had the rump and I had the pork with crackling and as you can see the presentation was second to none, and the meals themselves were second to none. On a side note, the owners had two new employees this night who were learning the ropes, the way the owner was treating the girls and explaining how things work was amazing to see. They were understanding of the inexperience and in the future I could only hope our kids have employers like them in the future!!

Have been going here from when they were in Bardon. Excellent coffee. Breakfast staples done just a bit nicer and a changing variety of interesting other dishes. We go here when wanting something a little special, and they haven’t disappointed in the many years.

Love coming here - we always get the menu specials. The coffees are beautiful and the flavours of the food amazing. I have ordered off the main menu once - it’s okay but the specials are personally my go to from great experience.

Very Slow Service and Limited Menu. We waited about 45-50mins for our meals including a Ham Cheese Toast for our 4yr old. We had to request to get that asap and that too take another 10mins to make. The food is good but very limited options, especially for vegetarians.

We ordered pizza, lasagna and chips totaling almost $60. Although the lasagna was very soft, it had little to no flavour. The pizza was extremely dry and the chips were more on the over cooked side. For the price we paid, it's just not worth it. Maybe their other meals are better, but regardless, you can still get better quality meals for less else where.

The coffee and breakfast was okay but I requested a half serve of eggs Benedict as I only eat a small serve - 1 egg and half a muffin with salmon. Was advised they don't do half serves. I advised that I was happy to pay the full price but can't eat the full meal and it would only be thrown away, so please just serve 1/2. Full meal served and half uneaten, wasted and thrown away. They did offer to put leftovers in a takeaway box but egg, hollandiase sauce and smoked salmon would be a recipe for disaster as we do not live close by. My husband requested a burger at 11am only to be told that was a lunch item and couldn't be cooked until midday. As he only wanted the beef patty, bacon and an egg, no salad, no cheese, no onion, no relish, he was surprised it was too difficult. Won't be rushing back.Interesting that the review includes brunch as a time slot option when you are not permitted to order a lunch item before midday so there is no brunch.

Popped in to Caffe Primavera today for lunch, and was greeted with a new food menu. I ordered the Southern Fried Chicken Burger.Best Chicken Burger I've ever had. Anywhere. Ever. Period.Go get one.

The fact that we could see the whole place was empty at 11am when we arrived and we were still given the let me see if we can squeeze you in" treatment was a bit sketchy to start with. I'm not exactly sure if they were trying to gaslight us into believing the place was busy but I'm not blind?? Anyway
